Upgrading from Galaxy SL to this Xiaomi mi3.

now I'm tempted to sell it.

Was targeting LG G2 or Xperia Z1. gf say she wan buy for her dad. So i oso tried buying. But bought it pula.

Thinking wanna upgrade to mi3 or buy G2.

yea, finally my old lejendary phone can buang riao.

Bought the mi3 for it's snapdragon 800 and 2gb ram. Not expecting superb camera performance.

Snapdragon 800 + 2gb RAM in terms of price now.

mi3 < Vibe Z < Nexus 5 < G2 < Z1 Compact < Z1

hope this mi3 can last me for about 3 years.

yea. they change the system I think. just now me, my gf and her roommate 3 pipul rebuting. I bought 1, her roommate bought 1 for her, then juz now my gf log in and check, in her cart the mi3 is still available, but haven't pay. Coz she bought using her roommate's account.

in terms of price point for android device with Snapdragon 800 processor and 2gb ram. mi3 is the cheapest for now.

go to xiaomi malaysia facebook page. There is 1 tab called service. click it, it shows all the service center in Bolehland. 1 in PJ, 1 in Kota Bharu, 1 in Ipoh, 1 in Penang.

But when click order details. Still not preparing for shipment or have any tracking number yet.

urs punya ada tracking number dy? or use the delivery id to track?

mine d still blank....getting more and more impatient and excited.

if lidis ayam go xiaomi SC and shoot them kao kao, til they refund me with mi3s.

called FedEx, thot of arranging delivery date. The guy kept saying xiaomi gave us until friday to deliver. I say when is the estimated date, he say again, xiaomi give us deadline until friday. in the end i juz ask them to call me when they arrive at my uni.

actually, can MOD move this thread to Android section. name it as shipping enquiry or details of shipping. the current mi3 thread is like a shipping thread. lol

mu uni's internet connection oso not d best, but managed to get 2 units.

A few important thing to point out.

1) Register the miui account first. Coz when u purchase u nid to log in.

2) Log in 1 hour earlier. That is my case. When 12pm, juz refresh, and click buy. Coz if u log in at 12pm, u will rebut wif other ppl, bottleneck. That's why so many ppl complain they can't log in. Coz the server only accept a maximum of (insert number) of connection. And also they don't terminate log in sessions. So my advise is, log in 1 hour b4 sales start. I'm not sure if they disable the log in function or server limitation, anyway, juz log in 1 hour earlier.

3) Use ur desktop's sticky note. type ur details such as, full name, IC number, credit card number, shipping address onto the sticky note first. Then when sales start, u can juz copy paste it into the required field. This is way faster than typing.

4) Have a back up credit card/paypal or debit card. My fren's debit card cannot use. Lucky I have my dad's credit card as back up.

5) If ur using credit card, they also require the last 3 digit of the numbers bhind d credit card, type that in ur sticky note too.
