this proton iriz only next week start production lor, testing phase ends this week iinm.. dunno when will launch..

btw, it got more sensors than previous model.. dunno what kind of tho..

Tiara > poor outlook design + special & expensive spares.
Savvy > "special" outlook design + no fully automatic gearbox + some special & expensive spares.

Iriz > Those who can accept MiVi outlook design should able to accept Iriz outlook design. + "poor" flag acceptable engine, automatic gearbox and spares + younger generation more awareness on safety feature in car.

We can see Iriz improvement compare to both of P1 failed product.

For Iriz main competior (MiVi). The old Mivi and new Mivi still using the same platform after so many years. In this case, P1 improve and P2 still maintain with some improvement on the outlook.

I think for P1 or P2 lovers should be happy since Iriz create some real competition in this segment at this price range. Hope they will be pressing each other to come out with a better product at reasonable price in the future.

Personally, I don think Iriz will be failed as what Tiara or Savvy experience. I think if they able to catch 20-30% of MiVy market, that should be encouraging at this point.

Hope P2 sedan out soon to create some real competition to future Saga.
