QUOTE(kamikraze @ Jun 17 2014, 02:26 PM) just to ask, do xiami malaysia provide 1 to 1 exchange if the unit faulty/bricked on arrival? or need to wait 2 weeks return back and 2 weeks to reach us? Since they do not have sales center here, only service center, they might check what is the problem and revert back to you. Unless the QC is that bad they do not even turn on and test the phones before shipping out.

Does anyone using NFC tags with their Mi3 before? Is it convenient to use? Plan to use some tags at office and home. For different setting purpose.

QUOTE(vergas @ Jun 19 2014, 08:54 AM) Hmmm.. I'll keep that in mind and see if it happens again. Maybe its the heat. I found that using Waze heats up very fast. I wonder would the GPS module be fried by the amount of heat generated.

My eyes strained reading back from where I left off I'm using NFC tags now, though please get proper types like NTAG203 or DESFIRE, Mifare NxP are not compatible. Though it can read, but can't write Thanks for the info.. will get some for trying.

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Jun 19 2014, 06:17 PM) Me! Me! Already spent dozens of 10 points to break the egg. But so far, no luck at all. Haha, up to date all my predictions went sour .... tried only once but failed.

QUOTE(jeremy05 @ Jun 20 2014, 09:43 AM) some news to share: http://www.techinasia.com/xiaomi-reveals-m...ce-philippines/Unlike other smartphone brands, Xiaomi is known for its flash sales, in which it sells phones in batches. It even does that in new markets outside China. Devices usually sell out in just a few minutes. In Hong Kong, the startup company sold 10,000 HongMi phones in only 36 seconds – its fastest overseas sale to date. Its slowest sell out is in Malaysia where it sold 4,000 Mi3 phones in 17 minutes. QUOTE(galantorian7116 @ Jun 21 2014, 12:24 AM) Guys, anyone removed the IMEI sticker at the back of the phone? Is it easily removable? Keep it in box or the sirim card together, you will need it when anything happens and you need to send it to SC.

QUOTE(Chee @ Jun 21 2014, 10:46 AM) Dev rom is on Kit kat while Stable is on Jelly bean, When you update from stable to dev will be considering downgrade where will wipe all your data. Stable 4.3 to Dev 4.4 consider downgrade?
