Hello, new player here. Just started a trial account. Feel rather nervous since just registering for a trial alone seems like need so much security. Downloading the online client now. Anything I should know before I jump in? I assume Tonberry server is best for me going by the posts, but anything else? What class should I take that would let me solo reasonably and still contribute to end game dungeons or raid?
Edit: Reading through the threads some more, I noted that people say we have to ultimately buy the base game, and later on, the heavensward edition. Out of curiosity, I checked the offgamer's website and strangely enough, saw the US base game going for rm80 over bucks. https://www.offgamers.com/buynow/ff14-a-rea...rd-edition.html The EU version however, is around RM45. https://www.offgamers.com/buynow/ff14-a-rea...ount-promo.html Since there's a discount for the EU standard edtion, and since there's no separate server, there's no reason for me not to take the cheaper version and log in to Tonberry via EU yea? Just a noob question since I'm not sure if that's whats happening. This post has been edited by BlutKaizer: Sep 26 2016, 07:45 AM |

The only things they're different are the mog station currency/Time Card code (which are also seperate into EU/US so look carefully before purchase).Edit: Reading through the threads some more, I noted that people say we have to ultimately buy the base game, and later on, the heavensward edition. For mogstation currency EU Ver use GBP US Ver use USD JP Ver use JPY so there's not much of a different you can still access all server without any problems. |

Hi. I have the base game (ARR) and stopped playing back shortly after TITAN Extreme was released. I need to buy FFXIV : Heavensward to be able to access Heavensward content, right? Also I need to purchase another time card to be able to play. Am I missing something?
