QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Jun 16 2014, 04:57 PM)
Reset DbW settings if u got lousy throttle response

1. Get in your car, it doesn't matter if you close the door or not.

2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter turns over.

3. Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position.

4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back
to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas
pedal.

5. Wait 2 mins. for a full alignment.

6. Drive the car as you always do.

QUOTE(TitanRev @ Jun 16 2014, 06:29 PM)
Yesterday after wash car in the morning. I start engine and let it warm up and I notice our engine at cold create quite a lot of water vapor. How I found out because my hose to OCT is clear spring hose. I can see inside the  hose become opaque and have those white vapor flowing to the OCT but some condense at the OCT hose. This make some low hose area got stagnant water trap so I readjust my hose and OCT level so that all the water or oil can flow down to the OCT.

Just a note to those with OCT, try to reposition your OCT lower than the cylinder head and have the hose gradually flow downwards to the OCT. if not, the stagnant water and oil will flow back into the engine. Another way to make sure it don't flow back is to use a 1 way valve or a PCV valve. I will try to find if can get any 1 way valve and fit it after the cylinder head oil/vapor exit.

those 4g1 series got the 1 way valve ma... can buy from spare part shop... but how much i dunno la...

QUOTE(HughieRmX @ Jun 23 2014, 05:31 PM)
Sigh .. it does't look good for my ride. The engine oil is leaking which makes the surface of the engine and the cover pretty dirty and oily with those black stains.

Problem now is that the leakage flow down to the metal surface which is quite heaty when the engine is working or on the move. The engine oil tend to be like 'grill' on the surface which turns out to be white smoke coming out of the engine cover.

What should I do ? sweat.gif

that's the valve cover gasket leaking... actually the problem is quite common... if u want i can share some information for this fix... just pm me ~ smile.gif

in short, the blm is now a plotong camlygaga. .
NVH very much better than the M3. Noise is still there but not as loud and currently it is still very much less rough (noise) compared to the M3.
Comfort is  thumbup.gif probably due to soft sidewalls but its ok, I am not driving it.
Went to puchong using Kinrara haiway; goin there is hell but coming back is sweet due to them.

saturday fitted, sunday went to airport to pikap home minster.
good comfort but after MEX toll, turning down to Putrajaya stretch, forgot its a BLM without bars and the tyres are still new, the BLM sampan like hell  shocking.gif
question myself why it behave like that one konaring; later only realise I am not driving my FLX.

Those ecopias coupled with the BLM stock saspension, it can make me feel like driving a "plotong camlygaga"  icon_question.gif
Now I actually like to drive the BLM more on weekends after driving the SE on weekdays fitted with 50kg bars, low profile tyres and stiffer saspension.

So I am happy with them if I consider the car as the car for my mom to go pasar/supermarket/shopping mall car.
And sometimes trip to Thailand.
It's gooding but the price if can closer to the nexens then its holymuthafarkerareyoufarkingkiddingme ? thumbup.gif
*
lols... if cheap like nexen then bridgestone can tutup liao... HAHAHAHA !!! but im glad that u enjoyed that...

lol ... maybe? Or maybe all recovering from world cup. laugh.gif

Guys, I need some advise here and would appreciate your feedback.

The latch for my glovebox broke. Now it's locked tight and can't be opened.

1) Any ideas how to open it? I have things I need inside there and will need it soon.

2) Is there anyway to repair this? Maybe just replace the latch and lock portion? Or do I have to replace the whole thing?

3) How much would it cost?
*
just pry open lor... inside got 4 or 5 screws only... just change the lock portion... how much issit then i not sure...
