This is typical electronic problem. Plug in the key, step on the brake(do not release until the car starts), turn key to ACC(2 tick from OFF, 1 tick before kick start) wait for few seconds, move gear lever from P to D, from D back to P, then crank start. Few of my company FL got this problem when reverse parking forgot to put back P then off engine

When engine got cranking sound, meaning NOT starter problem. Its probably fuel cut off. I try to imitate the sound, you see whether you hear what I hear:

Wuekekeke vroom = start normally
Wuekekekekekekekekeke = no fuel supply
Wuekekekekekekekkekek.... kekeke(faster).... kekekekek(slower) = petrol over flow
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee = Timing belt putus(engine already gone, so as your wallet)
Tik tak tik tak = Starter relay sound, normally starter KO
Wuek... Bin Bin Bin Bin(car horn alarm) = Bateri weak
...............................(no sound no light no nothing) = Bateri kong, you probably left the headlamp on overnight

You can even start a car without engine oil Keep cranking lar tomorrow, good things will happen. Try not to step on the gas pedal yo. Remember to fiddle with the gear lever. Or you can wait until Plotong iDunCare cum and do the same thing for you geh. As long not timing belt putus, you're safe to crank until the bateri drain

5) If after crank for 5 minutes straight still not starting.... Please call Plotong WeCash get a tow truck. It aint gonna start until the real problem being rectify. It must have mechanical/software failure within the engine already

1.) normally what does u guys top up in the spare tank of coolant?( tapwater / distilled water/ coolant / battery water / no topup at all?) distilled water just enuff. only when to change new coolant, then you change use new coolant.

3.) my car is now 7xxkm mileage , there are brake pad's powder all over my car's rim (especially front rims)but rear rims have lesser , is it normal or what? stock brake pad normal produce brake dust liddat. there are better brake pads with less brake dust produces out there. rear brakes use drum brakes.

4.)If my car reach more than 1000km (maybe like 10xxKM) , Proton still count it for first service? what is the maximum mileage that can be exceed for first time service? 100-200km over still ok la. don't exceed more than that.

Plotong set 1k, 5k & 10k free servis is meant for furture warranty purposes. Its not about void or no void warranty, is about maintain the new engine clean to avoid FUTURE complication. Why 1k servis? Its bcoz all engine parts are new, during this run in period, there will be lots of grinding inside the engine, as metal surface rubbing happened, expect metal dust mixed in the engine oil(so as gear oil). So, after 1k run in period your oil filter will be suckalot with metal dust liao hence the 1k servis is applied. 5k will be the same reason, so as 10k. Maintain engine cleaniness in the early stage can avoid many complication in future, such as hutan bakar white smoke/black smoke.

According to dares, 55 tayar sangkut wheel arch punya prrrastic when making full turn + slope + when heavy driver in the FLX SE. BLM/FL if 55 tayar akan sagat belakang. Wa ady changed to taxi spring, now no sagat ady, can drive the damn car like an SUV liao. No doubt, I tested several FLX/FLX SE, all bumpy until my crap cum out from my pee hole, I wouldn't say that's solely bcoz of the 50 tayar(could be the M5 though), but indeed I find 55 tayar is more comfortable among them all. Pls go try abang dares mia keta so u have an idea how good 55 tayar is

With stock tires, the speedo is actually showing a higher speed compared to GPS, eg. When speedo show 130kmh, GPS is actually 122-125.

With 55 profile, the speedo now actually matches the GPS much closer.

It just so happens the place where I got my Kumho gave me a very low offer, and I cant be bothered to carry the old tires around to hunt for bette offers, so I let them go at 30 bucks a pc.

wronglar ah hia. Supposedly when your speedo shows 70kph, whilst you're actually travelling at 72.4kph lar. This is also why after upgraded tayar size would have loss some mileage. But if you calculate base on travelled distance compare to prior tayar change, they're more or less the same

On a 15" rim, if tyres is 50 series, your FC may not have any changes because the tyre's diameter remains. However, the width is 195, which will be slightly wider than the 14" stock. So, you may create more friction + better handling but slightly compromise in FC(*not quite noticeable).

I upgraded from 13" steel rim directly to 15", therefore I can really felt the total drag down of power output. From 14 to 15 wouldn't feel much different I think. So, up to you guys what you want. I like 55 series just because I want it to be more comfortable. On 55 series tyre, because the diameter is larger than 50 series, and therefore the wheel turn less round so your mileage record will slightly drop a little(means it will looks like increased FC). However, if you're those kind of people who count on how many days pump petrol once, you probably won't feel any difference at all.

It's already stiff as it is, you wanna change to stiffer ah? you probably dowan to lower it as well because you will need to make the springs and abs even more stiffer so you won't sagat....Unless you wanna make it taller like Unker's car

my 55 profiles will scrub the mud guard plastic when at full turn to either side, BUT NOT ALWAYS!

I generally avoid steering all the way til it locks because I wanna avoid damaging the steering rack (even when making U-turns), but my GF does not care, she will steer all the way if needs to and even when she does, it only kena like 1 out of 10 times and that's because when the conditions are right (on an incline, for exampe).

Note that I really need to turn ALL THE WAY, not 1cm from lock, not 5mm from lock....it's ALL THE WAY til it locks, then only there's a chance it will scrub the mudguard.

Try one day you drive without ever turning your steering til it locks (almost, but don't lock), even when parking. You'll see it really doesn't make much difference.
