i'm still a student and i'm working in my dad's hardware shop every year's december till chinese new year, to earn pocket money for mid-year-spending-spree though i know i'll never be fired as long as i go to work and don't do stupid mistakes, like, arguing and punching customers, the thought of being fired is still, scary

here's how my father do it: if a worker is late-to-shop for 3 days in a week, in the 4th day he'll get a scolding and a RM20 to get himself back to kampung (majority of the workers are from kelantan. i don't know why too.), shouting at him, telling him the next day there'll be someone to replace him. "kalau tak nak kerja, balik kampung tidur, sini untuk orang nak kerja, bukan orang nak cuti." <- his favourite sentence.
