Elite schools don't necessarily have good teachers. Some teachers in elite schools are transferred in from other schools while some teachers in elite schools are transferred out to other ordinary schools.

There's nothing special about elite schools except the students. Trust me I am an elite school graduate and I've been taught by many new teachers transferred from other schools and they are all still great. 

The young graduate teachers, and especially *a*hem, are however totally devoid of quality and don't deserve to be teachers. Sorry, this is just the truth.

I cant comment about Jit Sin bcause I'm not frm Penang. But frm my experience in form 6, tuition is beneficial if d tuition teacher provides answering techniques. My Econs. tuition teacher is vry experienced, hence I think I benefited much frm his tuition, bcause he knows what r d common problems students face and how to explain to students in d best possible way. (I'm not frm Science stream)

I oso attended PA tuition, but my tuition teacher wasnt serious in teaching. Although I obtained A's in PA (sem 1 & 2), but I think dat as long as u do sufficient exercises, especially frm LP book, and know how to draw correct graphs, then you'll be on your way to getting A's in Sem. 1 & 2. (of course, identifying kombinasi esei is oso important bcause it enables u 2 write essays d correct format)

Ya it's possible. I didn't go for tuition when I was in form 6, and I fared well.

Some great teachers have retired these few years, so Jit Sin form 6 teachers are slowly being replaced by younger ones. Young teachers are fine. They may not teach well but I won't mind if they at least have the intention to teach.

BTW it's quite hard to transfer to Jit Sin, but if you really want to, my advice is don't give up if you're rejected the first time. Most people tried for the second time and some actually got it.

You should apply once you get your offer letter. And you do it by applying to JPN, not the school. The school cannot decide whether they want you as they don't have the autonomy to decide.

Oh, he has retired? I've graduated for two years and I've lost contact with Jit Sin since, haha. He didn't teach me PA, but Jit Sin still has other good PA teachers. That I am sure. =)

there are only 5 campus for this moment in msia and sure there will be more in the future..  gov is building some new school right now. im from 1 of them.
its good actually.. if u study in a f6 campus.. all the f6 students gather together. less discipline problem to handle.. teacher wil hav more time to focus on u.. and more activity that suit f6 wil be held..

From what I know you need to register to the school which is written on the application form during orientation. You can also phone to school which you want to transfer to help you too
