Just a quick question here concerning PA graph:-
Suppose that I get a question that has passages which sound like this:''...kadar peningkatan penduduk Cina meningkat kepada 20 ribu pada tahun 2007...'' or ''...jumlah penduduk bumiputera dalam tempoh 5 tahun tersebut hanya meningkat menjadi 120 ribu pada tahun 2012...''. Now, if I were to plot the y-axis of the graph, should it be like 20000, 40000,60000,80000... for every 2 cm, or 20, 40, 60,80,... for every 2 cm and finally add a ('000 penduduk) when labeling the y-axis?

And having said that, what should we write for our skala? 1 cm:10000 penduduk, or 1 cm: 10 ribu penduduk?

Just Visiting By, do we have to always state the definisi in the pengenalan(first paragraph) of our PA essay?

I think so haha it's been 2 years since I last touched it. Quite miss it actually, drawing PA graph is the best part of the whole PA syllabus (though also most risky).

This is graph bar bercermin (if I'm not mistaken). For graph bar bercermin your year cannot be at x-axis. You need to show comparison so your year has to be on y-axis so that you can see the difference.

how to identify graf garis komponen and graf bar komponen? The kata kunci for both graphs are 'jumlah', so when to use graf garis komponen and when to use graf bar komponen?

Both are acceptable.

When I sat for it (2013), it is mandatory to write "1 : X", where X is whatever scale the right chart is to the left.

The left must always be 1, so the right could be larger or smaller than 1.
In this case, graph bar is always preferred over graph garis.
