Time sure passes fast eh? It's been more than 2 years since this thread was created.
For those STPM 14/15 batches:
We had struggled for one and a half year in STPM. STPM is a tough journey, and of course, we went through ups and downs during our school life. STPM had definitely taught me to look at life in different perspectives. Sometimes failures didn't indicate the end of the world, but it acts as a blessing in disguise: To push our limits further, because we believe that we can do it better next time. We had also learnt that 'what we sow is what we reap', where those who spent their efforts in their studies will get good results. We discovered several friends too who are able to help us even if we are down, and for some people, they are able to seek true friendships as the saying goes 'a friend in need is a friend indeed'.
By looking back at ourselves before the one and a half year, we had definitely improved, we are able to think more carefully before deciding on our actions. We have a clearer path on which course should we take as compared to us before taking STPM. And we believe that we can survive in the next 3-4 years of university life because we had been in tough situations before. Even though we are at a disadvantage in enrolling into local government universities, but we are at an advantage in learning pace during university life.
We did it! By now we should be heading into universities soon, congratulations to those who got enrolled into their dream universities with their desired course of choice, but for those who didn't, don't be disappointed, when there's a will, there's a way. Thank you for doing your best in STPM, this will be an unforgettable memory in most of us. All the best in uni life!
(PS: I will still keep this thread open, just in case)
