Why Choose A Dynamic Headphone…When You Can have Planar?

Just received my HE400 which I assume to be from the last batch before its discontinuation. RM999+FOC Vsonic IEM, I think this deal is ridiculous, the price of the HE400 itself already very good.

Service is fast and responsive as usual, what I like the most is how the parcel is wrapped, haha.

Compass is not bad in overall performance, the DAC part is stronger. Next time you still can upgrade amp and pair with it. Other upgrade can be the receptacle, cables and power cord.

If i prefer a somewhat v sound signature, would re600 be suitable?

The V sound that you mentioned is with sparkling treble and strong bass? what music genre do you normally listen to?
Different people might have different definition towards vsound as well. So I better ask.

kpop, rnb ..i read online the highs are a bit subdued for re600

RE600 to me is a quite balance sound IEM slightly to the mids. This doesn't mean it is an IEM without much expansion. In fact it has good treble expansion with rich details, just that it's not aggressive. Bass wise, it's not those very punchy type, it's more to flexible type with adequate amount of good bass.
