question bout painting... is those spraycan labeled as "UNDERCOAT" shares the same meaning as "PRIMER"... coz i've bought a can of undercoat... RM5.90 cap ANCHOR.... i couldn't find any cheap primer paint for plastic besides TAMIYA METAL/PLASTIC PRIMER at RM79.90 !!!
Anyone here knows where to get those rubbing compound and primer for plastics? |

they've got grey but i get the silver one instead coz later it'll be chrome..so better have a lil resemblance lo... Hardware shop... try a few chinaman one lah... they don't have those, kev-da-man recommend auto paint shop... the prob is they seems to offer only painting job rather than selling u stuffs for diy... normal paint shop don't have those rubbing compound... sigh... |

"Sanding block. It's worth making your own from scrap 2x4 lumber if you don't want to buy one."
How much will a sanding block cost? If we buy it from the hardware shop. Wet sanding - use soapy water when sanding, rite? After that, just leave it to dry or wipe the panel with clean water first? Or wipe with denatured alcohol? Can we get denatured alcohol at hardware shop? I know the difference between enamel and lacquer paints, but what about epoxy paint?
