The mech keyboard thread in Lyn used to move many pages in a day. But looks like it quiet down. What's happening? You guys moved to somewhere else?

It's not that I don't want to post here. This thread moved so fast that it is hard to catch up and have meaningful conversation. And by the time I check in at the end of the day, the conversation or topic have moved away already. It's kinda difficult to discuss in one thread.

The HHKB is really good. It's my daily driver now and I sold all of my other MX board except the Code Clear. I think you should REALLY consider HHKB.

Simple answer. My RF is a TKL. It's too big to bring to the office to connect to the MacBook that I am using. The keyboard would be BIGGER than the MacBook Air - kinda embarrassing la. So I use the RF in the home PC for gaming and surfing. If I can mod/know how to mod the HHKB to 55g, that would be the best for me!

I just received UMAD Angry Summer set today. Look beautiful on the HHKB:

I was fortunate to be able to buy the UMAD and OOC Orange Borbot at cost, so no need to pay after market prices.

Tonight I am going to put them on the RF 55g and see if it match the yellow and orange theme I am also building. I have the orange and yellow caps.

This is what I have at home. Of course the skulls are now at the HHKB you see in my post above. Photo is taken a month ago.

I think I want to put the Angry Summer Brobot in F2-F4, Angry Summer UMAD in F6-F8 and then the yellow, orange and red skulls in F10-F12. That's what I will do tonight, if no interruption from social activities

It's the LAST keyboard you EVER need, bro. So, RM900 is a good investment. Besides, the value of HHKB holds quite well, so if you decide to sell, you won't make a huge loss. Also, once you start buying Clacks (I hope you don't ever go down this path), then RM900 for a board is, um, very small already. That Candy Corn skull you see on the ESC, the one with the yellow, orange and white? That bugger cost us$200, stupid one piece cap!

Won't be the death of you. Just the death of your wallet These caps are VERY RARE where as, money, can still work doubly hard to earn back. But it will be VERY difficult to get caps these days. People are trading them for other caps, they are not even selling. But I have slowed down myself. I have collected the theme I am building and I am pretty happy now. So I have told myself I will stop looking. I hope I have the willpower. LOL!

Have to be Topre, right? Their HHKB Type-S is probably the most expensive non custom from a major manufacturer.

Just a note that the USB in HHKB is only useful for wireless mouse. It somehow does not have enough power to power a USB drive. Dumb, I know, but that is how it is.

My post office luck is on a roll today. I received the UMAD and OOC in the morning. And now, 6 hours later, I received the Conservative Red bro from a trade. Today is Bro Caps day!!!

Interesting to note that the Conservative Red has a two tone red shade. Brighter in the base, a darker layer on the face.

Not about kaya.. I am fortunate to be able to buy the Brobots at cost. The Conservative Red was a trade with the Fauxlluminium Brobot which doesn't match my theme.

Ha ha.. unlikely, bro. I spent a lot of time collecting this and I love them very much! And I have reached my theme that I am building so I am contented. I will enjoy them for a long time :thumb:
