A bit expensive kit and layout is too small, always need to toggle layer to access num/f row imo.
Not so user-friendly, people jusst join this gb for donation......

Never again.
Stupid teensy BGA wannabee controller again. Horrible to hand solder, horrible to desolder.
Good luck to whoever gets it. You won't be able to sell it here once you are sick of it.

GHers still want the metal stick and solder method used on Phantom.

Here is a proper way to turn that teensy into Surface mount. This module goes onto a PCB.

Guys, is buying a Realforce 87U using an agent that charge RM900 for it worth it or should I just directly buy it from EK? https://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub...s&pid=rf_se18t0
*
Straight buy from Elitekeyboards also RM900. Reach in 1 week via EMS/Poslaju

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Aug 5 2014, 08:37 AM)
Getting from amazon jp always is a cheaper alternative than getting from elitekeyboards.

Just checked the Amazon JP and it doesn't have the 55g I'm looking for. Btw, confirm can reach within 1 week if I buy directly from EK instead of agent?
The 55g is actually in stock starting today(Yesterday out of stock). So I guess my only choice is EK
*
Ordered 25 March
Arrive 3rd April.

I'd say about a week thereabouts.

if you are in KL, you safe 2-3 days customs processing time.
Mine need to transfer to Penang.

Just ordered a 87U 55g Topre from EK when I never tried any mechanical keyboard(not even a Cherry Switch). I figured that I should choose the high end switch right away rather than Cherry first and then upgrading later. I hope I don't have to change to other keyboard later.
*
Keep using it for 1 month after you get it.
You will appreciate the keyfeel and noise after that.

When you first got it, you will feel like 'this is it??'

Got one guy, I helped him to obtain a 55g from Taobao some time ago. He sold it a few hours after receiving it. doh.gif

Why you guys like to blow his bubble.
He like to buy Topre let him buy la.

It's a good keyboard, nothing wrong with it. I am typing on a 55g right now and is loving every keystroke of it.
Sometimes I just autopilot touch typing and listening/feeling the click and clack of every keypress. Feels Like heaven.

If you die die also want to do it, sell small scale first.

Btw, shipping overseas via Pos Malaysia these days is very expensive.

Indeed expensive, just shipped out keycaps to CN 2 days ago using EMS cost almost RM80.  doh.gif

Firstly, EMS to China sweat.gif
EMS in China is the shittiest courier service.

Secondly, anything else is better than EMS in China.
Unfortunately you are not in KL, or you can just use SF.

Hmm  hmm.gif I really scared to void the warranty just in case shit happens.

Btw guys, I'm not really satisfy with the Ducky keycaps. Some of them are not well-printed, the finishing on the printing is just not great especially the replacement ones (Red ones). Plus, the replacement spacebar provided just a disaster. The LED lights actually went through the black area, I can see it. The rest are okay.

Can you guys suggest any place can find some black keycaps? Good quality ones?
*
Use spray paint on the spacebar
