Wah, poison poison. Any notable change in the typing sound? My current switch (and key) sounds pretty darn awesome IMO. Deep and low tone instead of high pitched that you hear on blues.

It'd be great if it actually sounds like this.

0168257061I asked GON for that quote for the 38gt+plate combo I was talking about.
After doing some math, that's still about $10 cheaper than ordering from the Sprit GB(aluminium plate, pcb pre, switches and LEDs, fully tuned and assembled).

Gotta save up now.  brows.gif

i didnt see gon selling any plate, need extra order?

Calm your tits. It's capacitive. There are a lot of capacitive switches around, and unless I see the switches itself I won't get over excited.
It'll last you for years. Heatgun or hair dryer also can use.

can't understand how they mounted the LEDs. the cup rubber should have block all access to the pcb. unless the mounted it further away from the switch? hmm.gif

No, just curious if it's nice or not. I like tactile but lately I feel that my browns are too stiff. Might wanna try reds instead for typing (although no one actually recommends them for typing). biggrin.gif
*
mx clears have higher tactility and heavier actuation than brown. and brown iinm has one of the lightest spring among the 4 common cherry mx switches --> 45g. if u want a less stiff switch, u are looking at topre, i dunno if have lighter switch than 45g
