It's not really tough. I've not played any of Soul series (Demon's Soul or Dark Soul). I can complete Bloodborne without any help or whatsoever. Yes, I died a couple of times but the game is designed to kill you somehow, somewhere. I believe even a veteran of the Soul series would get killed in Bloodborne.

It's one of the things that I love.
PLAY...DIED...LEARN...ADAPT...CHANGE...[repeat process]. Anyway, playing it for the first time was an awesome experience but coming back at NG+4 (going to be NG+5 soon) pretty much explains how I got attracted by it.
All enemies (including bosses) have some patterns/behaviours that can be defeated in some way or the other. Go try and play it till the end. It's definitely rewarding (at least for me).
PLAY and expect to DIE (a lot - if you are not playing the game smartly). I've lost more than 1,000,000,000 Blood Echoes throughout my runs and currently at Level 350. I don't think I will ever hit maximum Level 544 but I've set my reach to Level 400. I'm into chalking up 200 - 300 hours playing Bloodborne.

This game was designed to piss you off and to test your coolness. Well, I lost count how many time I cursed when I died and I cursed even more and louder when I kill that fking bastard boss
I never get to finish the game and I wished I had since this was my first game after I got my PS4. I managed to kill Cleric Beast , Gascoigne , Blood Starved Beast , Vicer , The Witch , Shadow of yharman , ROM and The One Reborn . Thats it and I gave up .. Somehow, I got confuse where I need to go in this game and what I need to get to get the ending .
One thing I dislike about this game is whenever you died, you have to fight all the minions once again before you get your Blood Echoes back. Wtf man .
But can't deny the joy when you kill the boss
I am still considering whether to get the Old Hunter Edition since I am very tempted to play this game back once again lol ...
