Downloading the 2.69gb patch......can't wait.

Anyone managed to claim the free messenger top hat DLC? When I input the code for the DLCs, I could only download the ost and theme. The paper in the case says there are 3 DLCs.

- Use hit and run tactics. Try not to use up your stamina every time you attack so you leave enough to roll away after attacking.

- Single out enemies as often as possible. Try to aggro as little enemies as you can and lure them away from the mob to dispatch them one at a time.

- Learn the attack patterns of enemies so you know how to make use of the i-frames (invincible frames) during the roll animations to stay offensive while being on the defense at the same time. Also, learn the timing when you can use your firearms to stagger and execute a critical attack.

- Don't be afraid of dying because every death is a learning experience. More importantly, NEVER GIVE UP.

Try deleting the installed game data and update then re-install and update. Or start another character and see if the same problem persists. You can easily reach the boss again in a very short amount of time. If it's your character/game data that is corrupted, doing those should fix the problem. I've had a corrupted save file in Dark Souls 2 that prevented me from ever putting down a white summoning sign until a patch fixed it.

Worst case scenario, your disc has problems so you might want to see if you can get it exchanged.
