first time going into the DLC, i was like wtf..why these hunter-like mobs are 'permanent' compare to the usual 1 where you kill it once and then it won't re-appear?  bruce.gif
They are the same as any other enemies, no? sweat.gif

I think in the base game, whenever you encounter some enemies/hunters using trick weapon, after you killed them once, they usually won't respawn again when you went back to that area?

but in the DLC first area, you'll encounter a few old hunters with trick weapon (Beast Cutter, Pistols, etc.) and they will still be there (when you reload) even after killing them. that's what i meant

Oh, now you reminded me of something. Yeah, come to think and recalling it, you are right. You don't get that many hunters in the original one but there's more in the DLC. Oh well, isn't that a good thing? You get to kill more hunters.

i went in there first time quite underlevel (60-70 ish). I thought if i kill them once, then they won't re-spawn. Turned out it's not the case.

Later on, I only finish the DLC before the final fight with Gherman biggrin.gif

Hmmm...I think the Level is not important. Even at Level 544, I still die from OHKO and some normal enemies THKO. laugh.gif Yeah, the hunters will be there in DLC. It's a good thing since you can play with the hunters around. laugh.gif Git gud!

How likely it is for Bloodborne 2 to be announced? It's my only favourite game for PS4.

50/50 chance. Sony still needs one more big game for the PS4 to ride off into the sunset before the PS5.

50/50 only? Oh man...Been waiting for the next one for ages. Sigh. Anyway, thanks for the information.

The only one I played was Demon's Soul, and gosh it was tough, unforgiving but rewarding. The platinum journey was not fun. Very hesitant to relive the moment again.

Any tips for me being the Dark souls player, where BLOCKING is very crucial, to play this game?

My DODGING skill is the worst. i am having quite the trouble to fight off Father Gascoigne. He's quite aggresive while me being careful and defensive. Can't seem to see an opening to attack him though. sweat.gif

But i must say, i am beginning to like Bloodborne.

any tips is most appreciated. thanks.

learn how to dodge (abuse i-frames) and be more aggressive.

Bloodborne is meant to be more aggressive, that's why they remove the shield and implement the 'health-regain' system.

hence I still having trouble getting used to it, installed 3 times on different occasion, 3 times uninstalled it after few weeks

Playing too much of the DS already, too used to playing defensively against slower enemies, any danger just block with shield saja

Having a hard time dodging BB's much faster enemies, and their reach is much further doh.gif

btw, I didn't notice frame rate issue on my old PS4 with my old plasma TV

but it seems there's some frame rate issue on my Pro on 4K TV hmm.gif kinda dizzy after playing a while due to frame rate issue rclxub.gif
anyone also experience the same thing?

Bloodborne suffered from frame-pacing issues and it wasn't fix at all.

I play Bloodborne first then only play DS, and I'm the other way around. Less blocking and shield just for the bonus
