I heard that western laxatives can treat children with constipation? I'm crossing my fingers that this could lead to a long-term solution. Is there any other ways that is more effective? My boy suffers from constipation problem since young. I have blamed the milk formula because it causes my son to have hard stool and constipation. It hurt every single time and he would be crying from the pain. But when I changed to some other brands, it those not help. The problem is still there. This is why I didn't want to switch him yet again. My Pediatrician gave me some Dulcolax to help softening the poo and stimulating the bowel to empty. Is there any milk powder brand that can prevent constipation? I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some advice maybe I’m missing something.
Thanks

May I know how old is your baby boy?
Did you give your baby boy enough water everyday?
