But this hill is much steeper than Genting . I tot Proton would answer like this " We will change your engine to a turbocharged CFE unit with 205NM of torque to enable you to climb the hill easier " 

This year Chinese New Year I drove my Inspira MT there too. Before I went there, I tightened my handbrake to 1 click to full stop at 10% gradient hill. I went Thean Hou Temple, traffic was very jammed already, I saw an old KE70 Corolla roll back like shit.The driver tried so many times to move forward but not successful.. Damn scary...Lucky I not behind him. 

After I got stucked at the hill , I pull handbrake. 1 click. I release brake pedal slowly, still roll back man...Pull harder, 1 more click, still roll. 3rd click only stopped completely.  Do multiple times only can reach the parking lot.

That place, got some soh xxi young drivers still follow close anyhow despite how steep the hill is.
