btw, was reading ur blog, regarding the fuel filter change, after u change the filter, do u re-glue the seal beneath the seats?

mine have petrol smell everytime i pump full tank from almost empty tank.

i didnt reglue the seal beneath the seat as the glue is still wet .. reuseable..

u should not have smell from there bro. The black round rubber seal should seal off the petrol tank from the external.. not the one glue to beneath the seat. I suspect the connection part from the fuel inlet that cause ur petrol smell

i have no idea how to settle it, apparently it also happens to some inspiras and lancers.

its pretty classical, empty tank, fill it to the brim then got petrol smell in cabin

i would suggest this part.. that is the part connected to your car body

Did u change the rubber o-ring?

Try change that. See help or not.

My mechanic said if that o-ring wear d and no change after open, will have petrol smell.
