QUOTE(k!nex @ Sep 2 2014, 11:24 AM)
This clutch pump replacement thingie will take how long?? Must leave the car at SC for days?? I think mine also have some symptom already. Sometimes gear change got crunch sound even when clutch depressed fully.

This happens especially, situation like this : From gear 4 , full clutch, go gear 3, release half clutch to slow down the car, clutch in full again to go gear 2, then the crunch will happen.
*
clutch stressed and synchros grinding.

- don't half clutch to engine brake
- rev match better
- gear oil

either 1 or all of the above.

Gear oil I already changed at SC at 10k km service. I ask them to change for me coz that time, during traffic jam, gear 1 hard to engage.

Maybe I can try not to half clutch to do engine braking.

the synchros very particular especially if you drive aggressively/clutch dump.

so imho appropriate viscosity/gear oil with appropriate friction modifiers is very crucial laugh.gif

i'll probably change mine again after 40k or something, or when my synchros are b****ing at me till no end.
i changed the gear oil to MTL at ~1700 km only because i can't stand the synchronizers acting up lol
could be because the gear oil has been sitting in the car since August 2012, who knows.

brake fluid already flushed once ma during asc tongue.gif
going to bleed it again with motul 5.1 (just for the viscosity also LOL!) before track day as well
