Sifu, we change it a set or filter itself is ok?

Looking at the assembly is okay to change just the filter. The other part does nothing. But the design is smart, it use the assembly as a smaller tank to store the petrol so that the fuel pump is always submerge in the petrol.

Ohyaa ho... didn't thought of that lah...  doh.gif

Anyway, that's what I love to hear. Love to hear where I've done wrong.
Thanks for pointing out!

So, if what I'd tried is not advisable, then is there any other way to go around this '2nd gear power' problem?  icon_question.gif

The big tabung is where the pump suppose to be.
I think the other filter could be the small tube outlet area. (if got la). But the one i replaced is the major one. The fuel goes through that filter before masuk the pump... And out put the hose before to the fuel railing

Let's KILL your bandwidth!

THIS SHOULD BE DONE .. WHEN YOUR FUEL LEVEL AS LOW AS POSSIBLE...

Attached Image

1. Remove the seat.. pull on the white clip area on the front .. one left one right

Attached Image

2. you need to remove this portion.. it is not screw but GLUED .. juz use some force and pull it off..

Attached Image

jeng jeng jeng ...

3. you will notice 2 things connected... one electronics... which held the fuel gauge indicator thing .. and the fuel pump connector itself... juz remove it by pushing on the clip and pull upwards..

the other one is the fuel line to your engine.. a bit tricky and will get messy .. pull the green thing upwards first .. u might need a flat head screwdriver if it is tight.. (mine just pull up will do) .. then at both the side .. press inwards so it can be release from the unit..

** BEWARE .. PETROL WILL "JIT" out... (but not much.. it is the fuel line from fuel tank to your engine)
Attached Image

4. Once remove .. i suggest you clean up a bit first before proceed.. you dun wan stuff falling into ur fuel tank later... (dirt)

Attached Image

5. remove all 6 nuts ... size 8 .. put the nuts aside .. dun put in the center .. later fall into the fuel tank ... tongue.gif

Attached Image

6. once all nuts remove.. the thing should pop up a bit .. the hole size is just fit fit.. so slowly pull the thing up .. at the end of it .. u have tilt the top towards the driver side to bring the flaot out from it... (the float is towards the driver side)... I would suggest to slowly remove and wait for the petrol to drip back into the fuel tank else it will get messy..

Attached Image

7. The red and black cable is for the float. where else the black and blue is for the fuel pump. Just unplug the cables.

Attached Image

8. Local this tiny thing.. i dunno what it is call d... just use a small flat head screw driver and remove it .. (DO NOT MISPLACE IT .. YOU NEED TO INSTALL IT BACK LATER) .. once it is remove .. the top part should be able to come off already ... DO NOTE WHICH SIDE YOU REMOVED.. ** THE SIDE WITH SPRING ..

Attached Image

9. Unclip all center part to allow the pump section to be seperated from the whole thing..
Attached Image

10. Now you can access the filter ... Ewwwww .. unclip it .. there is five clip there.. and it is a bit tight to the pump .. slowly pry open it with a flat head screwdriver..

LEFT SIDE .. fuel pump
Attached Image

11. Assemble this back first.. dun worry .. it can only fit one way ..
Attached Image

12. assemble back ... do beware the flexi hose should this way ..
Attached Image

13. It should look like this ... clip back all the cables.. (2 only la) ..

** NOTE .. THE BLACK RUBBER SEAL SHOULD BE PUSH TO THE TOP FIRST .. i forget to do so .. so it will be harder to put in later.. i did it when installing back ... but didnt take picture... hand full of petrol.

Attached Image

14. slide it back into the fuel tank ... and put back the black metal bracket on top .. screw them back .. then connect the fuel line and ... before you put back everythign... start your car first....

** IT will take longer to start for the first time as the fuel from tank to engine is empty.. it will take like 5 seconds only can start.

Attached Image

My installation Fees.... 109,700.... chinese call it .. SAP MAN GAU CHIN CHAT ..

Audio experts,

Are the Rockford Fosgate speakers from Lancer plug and play for Inspira? Door speakers only, nob subwoofer or amplifier. Is the ohm rating the same?

Is it better than Inspira original speakers?
