i have tried using those cheap cleanser like nivea for my skin and they apparently made my skin dry instead of moisturising. so now im using a pure virgin coconut oil as cleanser and sunblock. although it's little expensive than pharmacy prices, but they can last me for more than 5 months.
unfortunately, using a branded also made my skin dry and itchy... so i would say trial and error if u were to buy from the pharmacy.

When you use a cleanser, remember do not leave it on your face more than 1min, it will make your face dry. And you might want to avoid cleanser that contains potassium hydoxide/ myristate hydroxide in the ingredient list. It's a highly alkaline ingredient used to modulate the pH and it can be drying and sensitizing for some skin types. But sad to say that most of the cleansers do contain this ingredient. Thus far, I only found out Olay Foaming Face Wash with Aloe for Sensitive skin cost RM10.90 without these ingredients and I have a very dry skin and it is very good for me.
But after washing your face, you will still need to tone and moisturize it, else it will still become drying.

I use Ginvera cleanser, so far so good and my skin is dry type. It doesn't dry my skin like other brands do. Cost around RM8-12 only.

Some Korean and Japanese brands concern the dry skin very much as the climate there is cold and dry. So their products often treat with dry skin quite well. I recommend shiseido. Its cleanser is really moisturized and mild to skin. It as a foreign product might be expensive, but it can be bought in online shops with a cheaper prize. I recently brought one from COSMEGO. As I remember it offers free international shipping

Hi, I have dry and sensitive skin and have tried most of the cleansers in the market, from mass to luxury. If you're asking which one I would recommend from Guardian / Watson I would like to suggest Senka's Perfect Whip Cream it's not drying, it's cheap, it's also gentle and fun for washing face coz u need to create foamy whipped cream texture after squeezing out the cleanser

This is what I use.. My skin is sensitive to stuff but this worked. If not, its cheap enough to throw away and try an alternative. Attached image(s)

Consider trying this. I've used this before and my skin felt hydrated after every wash. It's called neutrogena hydro boost mousse cleanser. Attached thumbnail(s)
