the phone really robust. i test throw at Hari Belia couple weeks ago. however its slim design made it uncomfortable to hold....for me, not really used to slim phone. but it is good phone nevertheless

Tested the unit in Penang. RM1399 as mentioned.
Feel very sturdy and very slim indeed. The camera border is protruding out of the back with the metal frame surrounding it. Nice feel when holding it.

Xplay 3s price?
Android 4.4 kit kat?

Vivo x shot and xplay 3s will be much better to consider. Hopefully prices will be on par with China like Xiaomi which sells same price in every country.

Hi, unfortunately X3S don't have the micro SD expansion but it do support OTG. X3S using ES9018 DAC while Xplay3S using Hi-Fi ES9018+OPA2604 DAC. Believe us, this is one of the best Hi-Fi Smartphones in the market.

Seems like the main appeal is it's high quality DAC other than that looks like another very overpriced China phone. RM1K+ but only 1GB RAM.....seriously?

Added the brand is not very well known internationally wonder how they even expect to compete with other more well know brands especially when other China phone makers are flooding the market with so many competitions these day.

Saw one X play 3S just now in Penang. Asking price is RM1899. Very tempting. Will consider it. Currently comparing this unit with Note4. Might grab it tomorrow. Any one know is there any freebies come bundles with this phone?

Bought 1 last night at BM AEON, RM1899. The shop gives me free tempered glass screen protector, 16GB mSD card(even though the phone don't have card slot) and case.
The sound is really something. You need to listen to it to believe, superb. The best among the mobile.

Better get vivo x shot coz got sd card slot.

I would prefer bigger screen then camera since I use camera sparingly. Besides, google is really trying very hard to dissuade the use of SD card. You have to root your set in order to use the card properly since KitKat. Don't know google is doing now a day.

Tell me the Xplay 3S performance. Is it good? The battery life good enough?

Looks like a good alternative to the Note 3 or 4, how's the battery life? This phone was the 1st phone with 2k display but it took over 6 months to reach here.

Battery ok, compared to my OPPO Find 7.

Exactly, AEON Bukit Mertajam. Its actual a booth on the same floor of food court on top floor. A couple booths away from Yes4G booth near the theme park.
The performance is superb just like other device equipped with Snapdragon. Actually, now a day, almost all premium Android set performance exceptionally well.

The Hifi sound is the best especially if you listen to .flac or .ape source music. No other device can come even close to this unit, not even Note4

The unit runs on FunOS on top of Android4.3. The OS really fun to play with and it rely heavily on gestures and glance just like lumia. You can activate certain app. with gesture even the screen is off.

Note 4 is good but with tiring features. Actually I forgo my Note 3 just a week before Note 4 launch just to get this phone. Initially was thinking of just playing this phone for a short 1~2 weeks then will get the Note4. However, once I start listening to the sound this phone produce, its like a magnet attracting me and won't let go. It is really that good.
Highly recommended for audiophiliac on the go.

Anyone know how to recreate the short cut on top of the page ? I wrongly deleted the I manager short cut in page 3

i love the UI- Funtouch OS . The UI looks so beautiful and colourful. I fall in love with it when i tried it out at the shopping mall last time. But 1GB ram seems a big drawback

Hi, do you have problem with the Whatsapp notification? I seem can't get the notification eventhough I already Autostart it in the iManager

I had this problem too.
go to iManager > Phone clean > Settings > Whitelist of speed up

This is a problem with Vivo phones. Very user unfriendly
Should just remove that Speed Up function entirely
