I help friend with laptop having the same specs with urs (but my friend's toshiba brand) and upgrade his laptop with those 1600MHz i sold. It runs perfectly, infact, it improves the Windows Experience Index (but not guarantee).

btw how confidence is you yourself in replacing the memory?

Hi bro. I have completely disassembled 3 laptops and put them back together. So I'm pretty confident. I'm just not an expert on the speeds for the RAM on laptops. I'll have a look.

I only have 2 pieces of 2GB 1600MHz Samsung for now.
FYI you can not mix 1600MHz ram with 1333MHz on a laptop.
but you can mix different brand and capacity having same speed.
