honestly, i think you just better stick to the original ROM.

and just curious... what concerns do you have regarding KNOX? for most users, it just looks and feels like another apps. you can choose not to enable it. it'll still be there but not really running.

and if KNOX is not really an issue, just update to latest Note 2 firmware.

reason why i suggest u stick to stock is coz... you dun seem to be well versed yet in terms of ROMS, etc... so, save you the headache. stick to stock ROM.

if you read the last few pages of this thread, you'd realise i have some "issues" with the DN3 rom. and many did say in the end, they went back to stock rom.

For the vast majority of users, stock with a custom launcher is more than sufficient. In fact most people just stick with TouchWiz.

Some will root for several advanced functions like backup and ad blocking.

Knox is actually a benefit for corporate types, but apparently it may not be as popular as other current MDM (mobile device management) solutions yet. It doesn't actually hamper you in your daily usage at all.

I'm on DN3 V3.1.1 from back in January, based on 4.3, and I'm very happy with it as it is rock stable and gives me the Note 3 features I like. It's sort of like having 2 x Note 3's now

The last 4.3 ROM from them is 3.2 which you can download. They've probably removed all earlier versions.

definitely not liking DN3 v5+ Lite. i think i've used it for almost a month and... at least once a week, it'll slow on me, forcing me to reboot.

so, going to try Phoenix. another ROM with Note 3 features, but honestly, if its anything like DN3, i dun think i'll actually appreciate.

i realised i hardly make use of the fan menu. and its got no floating browser which i sorely miss. i can't even recall what Note 3 function that i used from DN3.

so, I might just try out the ARHD after Phoenix.

see how... maybe ARHD is all i need. a slim and fast ROM. with good battery.

ok, in that case, i'll skip Phoenix and go with ARHD.

dr ketan... i thought he gave up Note 2 liao? sorry... didn't really follow what is happening. i just need a good working ROM. i know he's got good reputation but at one time, recall he said he's stopping dev for Note 2 and going note 3...

Currently on Phoenix v18.8, its doing good for me but the memory hog issue and gotta restart everyday is making me sick.

Seeking a for a lite rom that for daily use, mostly will be messaging, CoC and browsing.

Cant decide to go with ARHD or DN3 rom now.

mee tooo looking for a refresh look. my note 2 is still going strong after 2 years of using it... just need a refresh look. i wished there is a company which can refurbish your phone based on your liking... take it apart, spray paint with other colors.. mix and match depending on your liking and put it back together.. that would be awesome...

Last week, my brand new LG G2 screen shattered after dropped it on the tarmac, after using it less than 30 minutes. Replaced the whole screen assembly module for RM450.

Yesterday, My Note 2 screen is having problem. Screen not shattered, but under a bright light i can see some hairline crack inside the screen. No display at all so i do not know whether digitizer still works or not.

Asked the shop, quoted for rm150 for screen while rm490 with digitizer. Any advise?

I have bootloop when try to use that rom, it just stuck at the Samsung logo and cannot get pass.

Logo animation & LED is animating and breathing, but just it don't happen to load into the OS. And I gotta flash back to Phoenix again.

Am trying with v8.1 since thats the latest one I suppose it should have more bug fixed but it seems dont run well with my set. Tried 3 times and all giving me same result, plus I'm on clean wipe.

Now I feel wanna start to flash my old Note 2.. any idea which rom to test? probably I left my note 2 about a year now.. haha
