i'm happy with ARHD v31 (i think its v31 anyway).

so, this will be my new daily use ROM. it's basically stock ROM anyway...

Personally I moved on to Mi3. I dont think I wanna spent another 2K on phone that are running almost the same hardware as last year.

Mi3 user interface maybe a bit annoying at first, if you are used to Samsung TW UI. Its closer to iOS than TW or other Android launcher. You will be missing some of the features exclusive to Samsung such as swiping to call/message in Phone/Contact app for example. Palm swipe for screenshot. In return, you also will enjoy the FHD screen, speed etc.

I prefer Mi3 because its much lighter, better for 1-hand operation and cheap. I dont even care to slap a screen protector.

hi, anyone here using the Miui Dev Rom? How is the battery life? Any hardware not working on dev rom?

Depends.

For a starter, I got a Mi3 but still reluctant to part with my Note 2.

Mi3 is like a dream. Snapdragon 800 provide awesome performance for almost a third of what you usually paid for a Samsung top range. FHD screen and smaller screen which is easier for one hand.

Note 2 is still going strong because it really is quite awesome, even by today's standards. S Pen, TW enhancements, and other value added really make it hard for you to decide.

On top of these, Mi3 has a couple teething issues with notifications. My gmail has stop notifying me of any new mails. WhatsApp delayed notifications also annoy those who use it a lot.

For me, it's all about give and take. I love the performance, hardware, some enhancement but hate the iPhone like UI,  no stylus. I could easily get 4 hours even with heavy gaming like coc and boom beach which is hard to get with Note2 if you play these games.

Verdict? Love and hate...

sorry if this been ask b4... coz long time dont update my note 2 and feel satisfied with 4.1.2 samsung firmware..... suddenly want to upgrade to the latest samsung firmware....

want to ask can i download the latest N7100XXUFND4 firmware and update my note using Mobile odin?

anyway, not really worth repairing the Note 2. it'll cost you about rm640 (i think -- my maths is bad). G2... still ok la though its one generation old phone. we have G3 now.

top up a bit... an entry level OnePlus One (16GB) goes for rm900+. there's also XiaoMi phones...

But just for God sake, why can't Samsung just remove the home button? I hate it.
