@TS I think you should include DN3 Custom ROM in your post, because it was an awesome ported ROM. But sadly I gave up after 1 week of using it. LoL

Custom ROM = Either add fancy fancy features, or stock look with performace. But of course la, adding fancy fancy features will consume more battery and slow down the phone. Or the custom ROM is not optimised can also be power hogging too.

Use HandyNote Pro or Papyrus.  Free yourself from lockdown to Snote.

I didn't know there are such people who upgrade their phones to the latest version to show off.

well, i'd have to say i can't really agree.

i was happy with the original OS that came with Note 2. samsung updated the OS and removed some useful stuff *ahem* pop up browser.

anyway, the new OS was also not to my liking. and it didn't bring some of the Note 3 features. so for me, the upgrade was to get some features. unfortunately, my expectation of a 'stable' OS can be quite different that what others have...

another reason for me to try custom OS is to reduce the bloat. seriously, some stuff was taking too long, even like reboot. plus, i really don't have need for KNOX, Game Hubs, etc... but they take up space. i rather NOT have them

i'm still hoping i can find a stable OS that has what i need and removes what i don't need. customisable installation of custom OS (like using Aroma) is quite nice. but... i've yet to find a 'stable' OS. probably try my luck with phoenix next week and then decide again from there.

Sorry , dont generalized men just because your friends do so . My friends couldn't give a damm what version , phone or even IOS are we using . They dont care if their phones lags and need 2 do some tweak . Lag ? Easy , trade in and get other models . Batt life sucks ? Get a powerbank . There are other things in life more important then sitting around a mamak , talking about " My phone got 4.4.3 liau , u dont have le ? " .... LAME sial

So now there seems to be a problem and u removed it , still the best and most stable ? i was checking out this site... alamak, why go support Flash... heh heh... it's a dying thing and i totally agree on not supporting it. putting it there with the ROM just makes it vulnerable. Flash is so... open to malwares, etc...

errr... heh heh... dated 2012.

In 2012 , there r not much choices , basically , that's all u get . In 2013 , its a different thing . There are many good roms released eg Monx , SpeedWiz , etc which made Crash , ARHD , Omega "normal" roms . U cant based your conclusion on what was reviewed in 2012 la bro , dev progresses every now and then with something new . Something good in 2012 doesnt mean it is still good in 2014 .
