Based on experience, how safe is a dual coil 6 wraps on a 28 gauge kanthal on a Zenith V2 using IMR 18490 3.7v batteries? I don't have an ohm checker to be sure.

thats around 0.5-0.6ohm..

if ur battery is not the high drain high amp battery, its gonna be very unsafe..

u might over discharge ur battery very fast, high capacity wont matter if it doesnt come with higher amp...

please consider those 10amp and above battery if ur like sub ohming with dual coil setups..

MNKE 18650 would be the minimum, suggest the current 20amp-30amp sony vtc battery..

Thanks for the reply. Been vaping a single coil at 0.8ohms and was thinking of playing around with cloud chasing. Will probably get the Sony vtc 4 just to be safe. Is there anything else I should be aware of in terms of safety?

on a safer side, please make sure to not over discharge ur battery...

do check regularly to make sure it does not go below 3.2v as u may risk to lower its life span...

Hi guys, I asked a week ago about what DNA30 mod I should get, and I've already made a decision!

To sidetrack a little, I'm done buying mods for a long, long time (unless I intend to wage a war with my other half). What I have now is:

eGo-style battery + Kanger Protank Mini II (backup unit)
Provari 2.5 + Kayfun Lite+ v2 (daily use)
Innokin iTaste MVP2 + Aspire Nautilus (travel use)

And as for DNA30, I just ordered a VaporShark rDNA30. Have yet to decide on a rebuildable atty for it yet (any suggestions, guys?). Currently looking at the Fogger v4 and the Expromizer. Need something that can make full use of the rDNA30 yet simple and not too complicated to build. Budget is no more than RM400.

A warning for newbies. The vaping game is a bloody rabbit hole. I started just 2 months ago, and I've already spent over RM3k on only mods and tanks, not even including the shite tonnes of juices I have with me now.

Beware. A very rewarding hobby, but it damages your wallet like mad!

I've been going on 2 years and I *think* I haven't gone beyond half that yet, and still I think I've spent quite a lot. But if it's been keeping you off the stinkers than it was well worth it anyhow.

For a good tank, try out the Taifun next. It's easy peasy to build with and even easier to fill up. Or, if you don't mind the huge size, the Aga-T5 which a lot have taken to call the next big thing (quite literally too). The TF is far under 100 if you don't mind an imitation (500 ori), and the T5 is 150-ish original.

There's also the Ruzgar at 350-ish original if you wanna go up the ladder.

So, where did you get the VaporShark from in the end? Don't forget to post a quick review yah.

I have the DNA30 in the form of hana modz. Goes well with the russian 91% which is basically the kayfun lite that you have. And also the magma dripper.

To be honest, I'm not looking into clones. Each to his own, and I've absolutely no problem with people buying and using clones, but I personally would like to give back to the vendors who have played such a big part in this brilliant community. So I'm actually looking for authentic RBAs, and the Taifun GT I think is out of my budget. How much is the Aga-T5? I haven't studied much into that model in particular. However, I'm looking for a small-ish RBA because the VaporShark mods are famous because they are small in size as compared to other DNA30 mods, so I'm not sure if a big atty would be good for it? And, how much is the Ruzgar? These are the names I've not heard of hahaha.

I'm picking my rDNA30 from The Vape Lab in London, which I'll be visiting in under 4 weeks. For sure I'll post a review!

I'm actually thinking of the Russian, but would love to try something different from the Kayfun build if there are decent alternatives...

fogger v4 vs expromizer, i'll chose expromizer(Kayfun+taifun design).. ori only RM280 if you don't mind spending a little bit..AFAIK no clone yet in the market...

Is the Expromizer friendly with dual coils? For some reason the Fogger v4 seems to be very popular where else I almost hear nothing about the Expromizer haha
