So I should go for WCDMA/CDMA version if I want to flash dev rom is it?
Anything else I need to be cautious before flashing the rom?

Yes, WCDMA rom.

There's user data and cache that needs to be wiped.
Should I also clear All Data too?

Well, the battery really not great as 3050mah suggested
Anyone who using dev rom fare much better than stock one?
Ps: im getting 4 sot with minimum brightness and light use
*
I'm on dev rom now, and battery life seems to have improved a lot.
Only bug I found is that sometimes my phone would randomly lose signal.
So far it has happened twice for the past 2 days.

not much different, but directd ROM is pre-install using Taiwan or HKG

anyways, you can flash it at your own,

That the best thing for Android !
*
Can still flash with dev rom or msia official rom rite?

Those who want to buy Xiaomi mi3 can buy at lazada from DirectD. RM949. Apply code Fire100zeo and can get discount RM100.
So total is RM849. Cheaper than xiaomi official Malaysia.
*
BTW, why the rating so low in Lazada website?

That rating is about the product, not the supplier. Perhaps those who bought it not very happy with the product coz maybe the performance is not up to their expectation.
*
Oh ok, kinda makes it look fishy

Sifu in here,i got a question
If i come from stock MY rom wanna upgrade to kitkat dev rom, issit:
1-straight dl kitkat dev rom n flash it
2 dl stock wdcma rom, then flash to kitkat dev rom
*
For me I use option 1
No need to wipe also unless you're reverting back to stock rom
Btw, how to enable google play to download apps using data ?
It won't start unless I'm on wifi.

Anyone had problem using mikey with the lock screen function?  I've tested v1.5.4 english but still won't work.

Below is the apk.  PS/ credit goes to ins0mn1ac in miui forum.

suntzulee kindly add this at main post thk

I'm using the chinese apk, sometimes it works/delay/double press the mikey.
And sometimes it controls other things like the music app instead
I guess they still need to update the app to fix bugs.
