fark, yesterday afternoon my car get hit from behind, and the white colour Previa run away when i drive to road side ![]() i cannot see the car number plate because it was raining it happen when i brake hard on a congested road to give way for the kancil from left to my lane....., because that time was heavy rain and i just reach the kancil right blind spot suddenly the kancil wanna move in my lane so i had to press brake but not emergency brake just few deep brake to slow my car the farker behind is not too far from me but it still hit my car bahmmm all my things inside car scatter around, i dun heard any tire brake from behind so i assume he not aware or maybe the road is wet so no tire braking sound. my original bumper crack number plate broken, the rear bonnet still can open and close but the latching lock not as smooth as before several paint chip off around the middle part of the bumper can see the bumper clip hole offset, it means the collision beam inside aldy GG luckily all tail lamp still function but the reverse sensor sensing range abit wired the sensing distance like shorten than before. Now i scare the others parts damage but i cannot see exp: fuel line or fuel tank, rear wheel arm assembly and brakes. This post has been edited by ngeo88: Aug 4 2014, 06:25 PM |

QUOTE(Cavino @ Aug 7 2014, 04:26 PM) No money and tyres still got treads left (not hitting the min. 1.6mm indicator yet, very near). Last time when I'm loaded and not buying house, I change when its abt 3mm for optimum braking strength. Now wait till min. 1.6mm, then only change. I practice 1-2 car distance liao instead of sticking to other cars rear especially night time. I just got buttseks last week when driving Civic. I was waiting for traffic light to go green, so is the car behind me. Then he cakap cakap with daughter and either let go of brake or step on accelerator instead....rear bumper have fine line crack and I did not even notice it until morning, cialat since at night cannot see the fine line, so no ask payment and its late as well like last time when I buttseks ppl. See....even tyres got full tread and full stop also accident, just my luck... QUOTE(mosh @ Aug 7 2014, 04:31 PM) dunk buttsack ppl , drive carefully |

QUOTE(Beogatts @ Aug 13 2014, 03:17 PM) no dents? no major dents just very small at the wheel fender edge, my scratch longer until the door, i just polish it up and use touch up paint to cover, 2 layer colour 1 layer clear coat, 20min under hot sun for each layer to dry before apply the next layer the tiny hairline scratch actually no need colour paint just apply one layer clear coat it was gone. does touch up paint avoid the rusts as well ? whenever ur free, mind to take the pic of tht touch up painted area? if it looks good then i will jst send the car for ketuk2 only.. then diy touch up paint. due to i use parliah touch up paint (because can't find bronze garnet few years ago when i buy, now aldy got bronze garnet for all brand) so the colour will look different only if u see it closely, but if just look from far away it was perfect. sorry no time to take photo, this few month like i never see the sun go to work earl morning before sun rise go home only after sun set. weekend or holiday = sleep This post has been edited by ngeo88: Aug 18 2014, 09:17 PM |

just now after raining and stuck in 1 hr traffic jam then stop for dinner my PE cannot start any more fuel pump, battery, crank motor all ok then after few try cannot crank anymore. Mechanic come check using computer found my car immobiliser lock the cranking, he then reset the immobiliser the car can crank back but still engine not run.... he suspect one of my crank position sensor problem but he dunno the top or the bottom one, search google show that 1 sensor cost RM380 .....die i'm gonna pokai like that, now my car over night at workshop. any one has simmilar problem or not please share so tomorrow i won get chooped, and what cause the crank sensor problem ? i remember just now i crank the engine before it run i turn off the key then i crank again does it case the sensor miss position, can it be reset back to the position with out change the sensor. |

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Oct 30 2014, 04:18 PM) night time also can call him meh ?QUOTE(ckdenion @ Oct 31 2014, 09:26 PM) hmm...first time knowing such issue...jz feel weird that how come crank position sensor can suddenly go off like tat.perhaps let mechanic check first.update here again. After the check it actually all my fault 1st PE immobilizer actually come with auto disable cranking function, which means if some one trying to crank the car more than the setting (i'm not sure how many) but engine not run it will activate "crank cut " this is why i can crank the car until suddenly no more function like battery flat. 2nd the problem of i can't start the engine is i turn the key too fast (suspect) straight away to crank without stop a second at the Key "ON" position, when the ECU not fully getting feed back from its sensor, the engine crank is turning this make my ECU think the cranking sensor miss-position hence it cut off the firing spark signal to protect the engine from broken, this is why after the mechanic reset the ECU immobilizer, the car come back to crank but still engine not run he then found spark plug no firing. now up to this point i leave the car at work shop for him to check, base on what he told me he dismental all the 3 sensor (2 crank position up and down, + the CO2 at catcon) resistance ohm ok means the sensor are ok no need to replace, then he reset the ECU firmware ( not sure is reflush or reset now i worried he also turn off all my immobilizer so my car no more protection. This computer diagnosis include labor plus his worker late night push my car back to work shop and send me back to office / fetch me to take car at work shop RM200 This post has been edited by ngeo88: Nov 3 2014, 09:19 PM |

QUOTE(voscar @ Nov 4 2014, 12:03 AM) Want test immobilizer? Inside your car key there's 1 small chip (looks like IC), just take it out then go crank once your car see if engine able to start or not. yup, will test it together with my spare keyp/s: since you mentioned your ECU will lockup after cranking without firing up, try this at your own risk. |
