Denso recommended 30K for optimal performance. Ppl here using like what is mention above.

I'm going for 40K instead of 30K coz pocket no money...might ask technician to check if plug is still good at 30K (optimal), coz if gap is already large enuf to degrade performance noticeably, I will change early.
*
at least ur pocket money is more than mine and fubar20 coz we changing at 50k. dry.gif

if you want the looks,go for the elegance (though not much different),else get the earlier version persona SE.

just that side mirror on the persona SE too small. my dad keeps complaining when he drives my gen2. need to replace side mirror to elegance model for him if really getting the SE version...
*
yea...the side mirror from gen2 is small and if u r goin to get that,jz change the side mirror to the elegance version...

QUOTE(kennywee92 @ Jul 21 2014, 09:47 AM)
Screeching noise during braking is usually brake pad worn out. Looking at your mileage, so fast the brake pad worn out?  hmm.gif
However, do check if the brake pad is worn out.
Other possibilities have to wait for other sifus.
*
disc rotor surface warped/uneven also can cause the high screeching noise

QUOTE(sojen @ Jul 21 2014, 10:04 AM)
Fairly new car, i dont think the brake pads wear out in 5k mileage? Thats got to be pretty serious. I mostly day to day driving to office and home, no hard braking. I went to another SC also told me its a norm for persona. I just cant accept that its a norm when other cars can drive normally. I remember my previous Iswara drove for more than 80k mileage still no sounds.
*
the thing is,duno wad the guy in proton do to your brake pads.so difficult to know wad's d problem.perhaps u can take to a mechanic that u trust and let him check.either the disc rotor or the brake pads.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jul 21 2014, 12:34 PM)
Even changing to other pads, it might still come back after a while. Mine does. Now getting louder. The pads at rough looks still have at least 50% left...

Used to ignore the screech sound (H-Line sound insulation lessen it in the cabin) but now getting more frequent and louder. Will have to re-check it when I change tyres somewhere next month.
*
i changed my stock brake pads @ 43000km+ due to only 25-30% left. my car is touching 80000km now. current brake pads doesnt giv me high screeching sound.

Warped and uneven will cause sound ke? I kena mine, no sound at all. Only braking to stop, the steering vibrates.
Btw, my brakes got no screeching sound since new *touch wood*
*
previously when my brake pads worn out,it causes the disc rotors to be slightly uneven.even i change brake pads still got sound.end up need to skim rotors...

guys, i wan to ask. last time i service my car at authorized SC my meter was 1200km. now my meter is 4570km.
i checked the sticker the SC stick at my car is 5000km.

my question: should i service my car:
1. when my meter reach 5000km
2. when my meter reach 6200km (1200km + 5000 km)

Which one? if the answer is number 1, i need to service by tomorrow before balik kampung. if the answer is number 2, i will service after balik from kampung.
*
Service it around 5000km smile.gif

Cuz what i afraid is. If i put the clip, and accidentally hit it. Then the fender might spoil too. shakehead.gif
*
Hmm...got this possibility.but the clip is soft.it is to hold d bumper.anything happen the clip joint will patah first instead of the drilled part between the clip and the bumper...
