Honda Vtec Engine Problem!~

First of all excuse me if I use the wrong or improper words to describe.
My old Honda Vtec Ferio's engine always dies on the road. Perhaps the timing factor? If I switch on air conditioner on hot weather, the RPM seems to drop to 0 and the car just dies. How am I able to adjust this? Without aircon, average RMP is less than 1, normal?
Secondly, if my car is left for a few days without driving (about three days), I need to jump start with my other car in other for the engine to run. Is it the battery problem? How to fix? I seems to change the battery number of times before.

On your 2nd question, it might be your car's alternator is not performing well. Replace the alternator might solve the problem. just my 2cents comment

1- EFI engine right? Have u gone thru a major car service recently yet?
2- start your car first....then disconnect battery, if the engine dies imediately then confirm the alternator "kong". Otherwise, your car batt need to be replaced.

For your first problem ,correct me if i am wrong I think may be is your IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) . u can try cleaning it up or even get a 2nd hand unit (at your own risk) .

throttle body? Mind to explain what it is? How much does it cost for a service or replacement? What is IACV between? Yet, if I don't switch on air conditioner, the RPM is less than 1 wor!~ Isn't that's abnormal? My other car is about 1.5 if without aircon. Anyway, don't wish to create a new thread for this. Where can I get a replacement for this? I mean what kind of shop and how much does it cost normally? Just if case you guys aren't sure what type of car,

Your car lost the plastic on the side of the car? How that happened? Stolen? Hey, I think you got to go chop shops and survey around. They might have that plastic lying around, you never know.

Idle at 1500rpm is not normal .... in fact it's too high. Normal idle should be around 700-850rpm.
1500rpm is okay during cold start only. As soon as the engine is in operating temperature, it should lower to around 700rpm. My B16A idles at 600rpm at operating temperature, and may go lowest to around 450rpm... but never experienced engine stall unless I myself handled the clutch poorly.
There are two screws to adjust idling. The nearest to the throttle body is for normal idle, and there's another one to adjust the idle during aircond on.
But i think your problem is most likely throttle body want to kong already.

y not u just send to a workshop and have it a thorough check by the mech before conforming to repair the car?
Based on the advice of the bros here had given, a second opinion from the mech allows u to know whether the mech is bullshitting u to part with ur $$ or he's honest with u.
In the meantime, u can ask more abt these tech. info which are hard to explain to u in words. Then only u plan ur next step.
Hope this helps.
cheers.

well, I changed my battery. It's working fine now. I don't face any prob starting the engine at the moment. Prolly the old battery spoilt.
I also sent my car for RPM tuning, they tuned high, about 1.3k. Shd be all right, with aircon running idle, drop to 500. Just sometimes when I drive for a long time under hot weather, it drops to 100-200 and the car starts to shake.
By the way, anyone have any idea for the replacement of the thing in the photo I posted above?

For ur honda, check the distributor , old honda usually have that problem. Car will suddenly die off and the rpm not stable. Let said u cruising at 4000rpm, then suddenly the rpm will drop to 1000 or 2000 then back to 4000 again and also cannot engage vtec, it will jerk all the way during high rev. If ur car cannot start even after changing to new battery, which mean the fuel relay got problem, this is also 1 of the common problem for honda. Better send ur car to check, very dangerous if u r driving auto, when engine suddenly die off, steering lock and brake not working properly

By the way, anyone have any idea for the replacement of the thing in the photo I posted above? increasing the idling rpm doesn't fix anything. normal rpm should be around 600-700rpm, even if u turn on aircond the rpm wont drop much have u tried looking for parts at kedai potong?
