I am having problems getting back a refund from fyroo.
I originally paid him RM100 for 2 pairs of ATH-CK5 earphones, and the bulk failed because he received fake items. He promised to refund everybody. The topic in question: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=294755&hl=
It's been one month, and I've yet to receive my refund of RM100.00.

I've PM'ed him regarding this topic. Hopefully he can respond soon.

However, if he doesn't respond within a reasonable amount of time, I would like to ask for his bulk topics to be suspended to prevent further damage. Already RM970 is involved here.

RM45 is really cheap.... compared to other bulk it cost RM75.00. Do you have his phone number or something? He closed his thread after he refund to few person

well... I ordered 3 items from fyroo and made my payment totalling RM1000 on 22 June 2006. I have received the Logitech Stealth and Logitech Pocket 1 week after i made my payment. But to my dismay, the 2 items are imitations. But to save trouble, i didnt feedback to fyroo. But the PSP(RM870) which i ordered from fyroo never came. Fyroo told me that he has made payments to his supplier but the supplier conned him. so what he's doing now is trying to do more bulk to collect money to repay me the money. sigh... i keep asking him when can he return me the money, and the reply he gave was always the same "still collecting money". It's been almost one and a half months already and still i have yet to receive my refund.

Please help!!!

There's actually yet another person who he owes almost RM1000 to, asked him to open a thread here but he hasn't done so

Lets give him a day or 2 to reply here, before we start doing something about his other sales

Imitations is very serious problem, not the money problem but you paid for something that you expect for like Logitech original but it comes with something like similar to Logitech? That's not what we expect.

Hope that the moderator will do something if he dont reply after 2 days

What we see here are:

1. No contact from him regarding about the refund.
2. Selling Imitations / pirated Logitech without stated in his post
3. Got conned from supplier so that he need to do bulk before can refund back to his customer. Perhaps an installment will looks better than delaying the payment to build your honest to customer.

So far total conned if he dont reply here after 2 days :

Best thing we can do is ban his sales if a buyer reports to us that he received fake items
Before someone actually buys it, as usual the seller would say its OEM, replica, and other stuff so there's no way we can confirm it without seeing the actual item

About the imatations stuff, firstly i dont even know the logitech is fake or not. after some froumer telling me it is fake. i stated it is fake, but then some mod saying that i cant sell fake item. so i close the products. but why me?

If u see someone selling fake item, just report them to mod.
Nobody can sell fake item here.
And if u advertised your item as original, then u send your buyer fake stuff but after sent only realised it's fake, u should re3fund your buyer. Your buyer should not take the consequenses because of your mistake.
Be a good seller, coz me plan to buy something from u, to help u and get myself a good bargain.

I refund my buyer who dont want the fake item. he send back to me the item and i refund him.

But not all customer are that good, someone blaiming me about the fake item. it is okay for me. So i ask him to return the item and he said he lost the left ear piece already and too bz to refund. and how im going to refund. if he dont ilke to fake stuff he didint use it and he didnt lost the left ear piece. now he blaming me. so how. i ask him to return it but he has many reason. what can i do.

The seller who selling u PSP conned you is the problem between u and the seller..

Maybank2u did not send me an email. You did not send me an email and did not reply to my PM. How should I know? I think it's your responsibility to follow up a PM or email after you've transferred. Am I supposed to check my account every single day in hoping you banked in to me?

Anyway, I confirm that there was indeed a fund transfer into my account according to the transaction history in Maybank2u. Thank you.

Stick to a policy - If they do not have the full set, no matter what they say, they do not deserve a refund. If they know that it's imitation and still want to take it, and then only complain, they've no right for a refund.

Threadstarter, I think you should check your account balance before you make a complaint here. It's not your fault but I think it's better to confirm before you do anything because your action may result in a bad reputation of the seller.

Actually regarding the imitations, I somewhat guessed that the two Logitech items are imitations cuz it's too cheap to be original. Ok, over with that.
Regarding the RM870 payment for the PSP, I am not putting the blame solely on fyroo. I pity him also cuz he has been conned. But the sad thing is I have to bear the consequences of Fyroo's unlucky encounter with his suppliers.
I hope fyroo can refund me the money by end of this month. In urgent need of the RM870.

fyroo... regarding the installment, maybe u can start paying me half of RM870 this month and the other half next month.

RM435(Aug) + RM435(Sept) = RM870 + RM0 (interest since June)

it is ok with refund by installment. erm RM300 per month is fine.

Your threads have all been invisibled and will remain so until you settle all outstanding debts. We don't need to 'tell you first' before doing what we have to do, so don't be ridiculous. It is our right and perhaps even responsibility to protect the rest of the users as best we can.

Just because you were conned yourself doesn't mean you are not wrong. When you are a middleman, you have to absorb losses in such cases and you should always have a buffer zone in cash reserves to cater for such happenings.

I just think some of you are being ridiculous, and yet at the same time make some legitimate sense. But, I'm leaning towards ridiculous solutions only making the problem worse. Now instead of having to make back money to repay old bulkers, through being conned or making a mistake whatever, he has to arrange repayment to everyone who was in the midst of a bulk? Couldn't this have been discussed with him prior to killing his threads so that he could've been given the opportunity to inform his current buyers and make the necessary arrangements to, shock awe horror, refund his current buyers?

A gambler earning his losses by gambling isn't very far fetched and in some cases is the only thing you can do in that situation.

The moderator doesn't even come into this equation, everyone loves mods because of the job they do, but some things require discussion. Go back to your room and think of a better way to devalue my statement please .

In no way am I protecting or fighting for in the case of either side. It is in my best interests that this gets settled and it is ALSO in my best interests as well as a few others, that the bulks we were in were completed or resolved before getting booted.

Actions are understood, I just think it could've been done better.

This just show how terrible a seller you are. You are taking order from forumers in bulk and you keep all the details on the thread that you posted in this forums. Couldn't you even make a backup of everything on your computer? How rediculous is it to keep all your customers list on the thread itself without backup as you said in a previous reply.

Mod is doing the right thing to close his thread as now he fail to refund..If still allow him to do his business, so called to earn money in order to refund.. But it is risky for other forumers to order from ther bulk anymore, at least for the time-being..

Fyroo said has no money to refund in anyway now..Im just giving a suggestion here..We cant wait till he save enough money to pay back now.. Too risky in this way...

Maybe victims can get his current stock for various items to clear the debt If both parties agreed and Fyroo has some stock in hand...(since most of his threads are bulk order)

fyroo, please say smth... being quiet makes all your buyers (me included) nervous. please drop a few words everyday so that we know that u are still around. regarding my RM870, u can pay by installment using the following formula:

RM300(Aug)+RM300(Sept)+RM270(Oct)+RM0(interest) = RM870

I started my businees for since last month here at lowyat.net. My business started very slow but rapidly increasing. it so much fortunate for me to do business in lowyat.net. All the forumer very positive and friendly.

But business not always good like i want, my customer reported my selling goods are fake. Some the buyer willing to accept it and some claim for refund. But my mistake not to update my first post saying that my item is fake. Because of that, i have some misunderstanding with buyer.

To avoid fake item happening again in my ATH-CK5 bulk, i stated clearly in my post that if my item is fake, they can claim for refund. When item arrive it is clear the item is fake, so i announce it at my bulk and asking for all buyer bank account for refund. The fake ATH-CK5 still with me now. I know that doing businees, i should bare the losses. The losses are around RM2++ excluding shippping from China.
Everybody get their refund except Hikaru who didnt respond for the refund bank account till the thread close. Okay, forget about Hikaru, if you read all of this thread, u will know what really going on between me and Hikaru.

Now, im explaining my situation of my PSP Bulk which im conned from supplier. Im not going to tell much what going on which too complicated to type here. If u want to know more details maybe u can ask kingway. He know what im doing when i know get conned from the supplier.

In my PSP bulk i received 7 units PSP ordered. As i read thru this thread, some forumer saying that im should able to do refund base on my PSP profit. To tell u truth, how much profit i got for each psp. 1 unit PSP i take only RM8 profit (without calculating the shipping cost from my suppiler).

8 x 7 = RM56. So that only my refund to my customer if you all talking about refunding base on my profit.

I already did refund to deanwong and caerullin currently. This both of them im using my gf money and my scholarship money to do the refund. I do my best to refund u all, please just give me some time.As a student, i have nothing except my bulk for my side income to refund all the customer. Now all my thread close, nothing i can do about it.

Since this PSP BULK problem, it is only 1 month since i do the refund. It is not 3 month or 4 month that i didnt do any refund. Just give me some time. If im fully working now, I also not able to do refund RM4+++ in just on month. Please just be considerable. Im not running away with all of your money, I also do even have money for myself now.

Im sorry if i too emotional replying all the post before, it is okay to say something really make sense here, but please to post if u have nothing to say. i admit fyroo is the honest seller , not only in this forum, but also in real live. anyway, wat happened already happened, and from this situation, we know that he definately can not come out with that big amount of money, so i think we better give him more time to collect the money for refund, and in future , i also hope to see him appear in this forum... honestly n sincerely

Firstly,i feel sympathy on behalf of fyroo.Most of the forumers here are flaming him instead of giving support.Imagine if u were in his position,u were conned and running low on cash do u you think u will even refund to your buyers even after such a long period of time?I do understand that u've been conned and u lost your money and u feel cheated.

I respect fyroo for his ethics and his attitude.Even after so many people flamed him and attacks he still stands out and fulfil his responsiblilty.Yes, he did made a mistake but everyone makes one,right? If u can fork out rm 900 for purchase why don't you have money for ur basic necessities? He doesnt need to be reminded how deep he is in trouble at the moment. He doesn choose to be responsible i don't think he will even reply here and refunds money to the forumers.Be patient.

Some of you said,"why don't u lend moeny from ur family and friends?".If u were conned and failed in business,would you wanna tell everyone about it? Besides,we don't even know where does his capital comes from.He might lend it from his friends and family.Wil u ask them to lend u money again to cover his losses?In this kind of situation, i hope people will tolerate each other's situation. If he doesn't intend to refund money he won't be here.He can create a new account and conduct his business again.

This is soley my thoughts and opinions.Its hard to find someone like fyroo in the society nowdays.I hope i did not offended anyone as what i've said is purely based on my 2 sided view.

Ps: Why not post something thats more constructive and supportive instead of flaming here? I'm sure the mods will appreciate that.There's no need to add salt on the wound.

Yes, he made a mistake. But that doesnt mean he shouldnt pay for it. You lose ppl's money, you make it your first priority to pay them back, not to plan for your future so that u only pay them when you've got lots to spare

Basic necessities, i'm guessing what you're saying is that ppl should sympathize for him and sort of give him a loan by not asking for their money for an amount of time?
If 1 of the buyers decide to do that, it's fine. But they have no obligation to sympathize on his situation
Sure it's good to help those in need, but there's no requirement for anyone to do so
When we ask for donations, we can hope and sometimes expect ppl to donate, but if they dont can we blame them?

Yes, no one would like to spread word that they've failed
But when it comes to a point where you're owing money to ppl, are u so thick headed and so protective of your pride such that you'd rather take someone's money instead of lending from your relatives to pay these customers back?
To your question, yes if it was i who is caught in this situation i would find some way to repay my customers back first, even if it means letting those close to me know that i've failed in my business (what are close friends / relatives for in the first place?)

Finally and most importantly, why ignore the emails, messages and stuff sent by these customers whom you owe money to?

As for posting constructive statements, imagine u sending emails to someone who owes u RM780 everyday, for the past month. Every one of those has been ignored without a reply
Now what constructive statements can u think of to post?

yo dude... what is there more constructive things and supportive words that we can say here? NO ONE wanna flame someone if they are clean and clear... and the problem is... HE IS NOT CLEAN NOW!! He is not replyin email.... he owes ppl money...

and he is not doing the refunds...
he is now making himself a cheater!!

and if he really got cheated from other ppl, he should get help from his family and friends! he is still a student... what other posible ways can he earn enough money to pay off the debts? NO! he is no professionals that earn high income enough to pay off the outstanding debts... so he SHOULD seek help!!!

He is not handling this situation like a MAN... he is hiding now... so how the heck u want us to giv him support...

Like what KilJim said,u've failed and u have to repay back the money.Its been quite some time since he online,is he? So i guess he's not being trustable after all.

But we are no one to judge.We're someone who knows each other through the net and not in real life.So there's no point pointing fingers and complaining.Take it as a lesson. Just be more cautious.

Try asking around, his previous buyers and stuff whether they have his details

errm. i've bought some stuffs from fyroo before, but found out they were imitations so asked for a refund. fyroo agreed, even paid for the return shipping - very courteous man.

but i totally und muiche and the rest's concern on this matter...for a student like me, RM870 is definitely a lot. it'll hinder some from buying a new psp, at least.

i dont think i have fyroo's number and address anymore, but i have his name, IC, bank account? dont know if anyone's got this already, but do tell me if anyone wants it.
