Less than two months after the final release of Windows Live Messenger, a new build has been released last night. No word on any changes in Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0812.

the error can't login...i kena b4(beta version)...months ago...that makes me stop using live messenger

Does it still have the problem where you can't view your contact list??

Not that I aware of. I think this was the problem happened on their server side, and already being rectified

i was once facing "can't access contact list" problem too, hope this release will solve the issue

Same here, just updated the latest firmware and Voila it works smooth and steady.

Firmware updating? To which hardware you performed the updating?

On a Yahoo 8.0, sometimes there are issues where I cant view or even recieve message from MSN users...

Funny thing about This version, is for those still using older version before 8.0, they see me as offline. Cool, no boss to disturb me.

i know whats ur prob...and it was fix in this version...

Normally ppls display name is too long as there is a limit for it....so it cause the prob that u cant login....but this version fixed the bug....

PS: I hate ppl with long display name...they think that it is cute...but its irritating...
