Here's the problem. Assuming the landed property is literally surrounded by apartments that are 100% covered by TIME FIBRE? Because that was the case with my parents and i got a crappy CS guy who did not know how to respond "nicely" to my inquiry.
In all seriousness; my parents house is LITERALLY a stones throw from the nearest apt (1st is only 100+ ft; another 2x apartments is abt 200+ ft. SO literally left right centre covered by apartments). And they're not the only house on the street the small street; there's about 12 houses max......
*(The CS's answer was "Cannot sir, cannot" ; "Why Cannot?" "Because Cannot Lor"; "Why CAnnot" "Because cannot mar!"; "Why?!" "Because very expensive lor"; "How Expensive" "Dunno sir"; Hangup....).
Basically what's the timeline like for TIME to install TIME FIBRE in housing area's? THey going to start in 2015? 2016? Never?
I'm a little ticked because of the mood the TIME Cust. Serv. set me on when asking about landed property installation.
Hi Bro,
I understand your frustration about your current situation where your landed property is just a stone throw from the RFS (ready for service) apts or condos...
We've also come across terrace houses where they are less than 10 metres from Time manhole, where the opposite apartment actually has the service.
To provide services to these landed houses is not something impossible or so hard to do in terms of engineering/ technical implementation work involved...the issue here is the company's direction, the cost involved, permit, ROI etc...
We are not in the position to comment much detail on TDC's policy...
Talking about the CS answers...May I know who is the person who spoke to you ? Usually response in such manner is not something common.
Feel free to buzz me, I can explain more details about the technical work & perhaps costing involved in preparing the service into landed properties.
Oh ya...maybe some alternative solutions too...
Cheers
