What ONT does Time use? GPON typically is 2 Gbps down, 1 Gbps up.

Does anyone know what is the default WiFi password for ZTE H298N after factory reset?

I tried to reconfigure it for my neighbour but I don't know what is the default WiFi password after factory reset so I couldn't get into the router setup page, the SSID is now showing ZTE_xxxxxx where xxxxxx is the combination of random alphabet and number.

You can check at the back of Wi-Fi Router.

Every customers get Wi-Fi Router with different password.

Use LAN cable to configure it.

Hope this helps.

New or not does not matter I guess, I think existing fibre modem can go up to 1 Gbps.

Is the Wi-Fi Router connected to internet?

PPPoE set up?

Feel free to PM me for further help.

IF PON light is steady on, not the GPON problem.

If LOS is blinking, there is a problem with cable or isolation issues.

It could be it cannot support 100Mbps on LAN.

Only users with ZTE ZXHN H298N Wi-Fi Router can achieve 100Mbps on LAN.

I suggest you to get better router.

Hi Bro,

This Router ought to be able to support more than 50Mbps (on FE/LAN). Based on my team's real test, 7xMbps is fine, anyway there quite a number of possibilities that affecting the test results that you expected.

Mine to give me your number, will assist you to check.

Thanks.

Hi Bro,

Turn to the back of your router, there's a small sticker there.

Thanks.

For 100Mbps package using ZTE router, what is the maximum speed we can get?
Whenever I'm downloading something, the max I can get is 1MB/s - 2MB/s only. Sometimes can get 4MB/s but rarely.
I'm using direct LAN connection, not wifi.
