I was given a Linksys E1200 for the 15MBps package, this can't hit close to 300MBps right? Did a speedtest now, only got 75MBps

Can someone help me configure my Asus RT-AC68U for Time Broadband? After trial and error, I find out if I use the Asus I can't get 500mbps, but if use the ZTE Zxhn h298n router that was originally supplied can get 500mbps.

For Wifi Access Point i suggest brand Ubiquiti (UAP-AC-LITE) support upto 867 Mbps in 5 GHz mode.

Actually depending on the distance between your device and router, you might not need router that costly.
I have a AC1750 router and PC with AC1750 NIC. My PC is about 5m away from router with no wall in between.
When I transfer files between my PC and my HTPC which is connected to the router via 1Gbps ethernet, I usually get the speed between 550 and 650 Mbps. The router costs less than RM400 when I bought it from Lazada with discount.

Wired Connectivity over cat5e cable: 292mbps DL
Wireless 5Ghz with Lenovo Thinkpad 3 meter distance visible: 35mbps DL
Wireless 5Ghz with Samsung a7 3meter distance visible: 50mbps DL

this is an access point and not a router. this is not a router double up as access point. this is only access point.
this access point does not support media bridge, no usb port, no print server, nothing. Its just a commercial access point with good quality built and great range.

I just bought TP-LINK Archer C7 to test for my neighbour, well it only has mixed a/n/ac mode on 5GHz, I am managed to get around 180Mbps on WiFi, if you are on 100Mbps package then it is totally fine, 300 and 500Mbps users are advised to get a better router for maximum speed on WiFi.
