Why always use PM to pass info or answer our questions, isn't it better if just post it here so anyone who read this treat got the info. It's not that the answer or helping info is something so secretive or confidential to be posted. Just my suggestions, it's frustrating every time seeing some interested question like those modems problems solving and routers setting been answered with something like "Please check your PM bro" doh.gif
*
Hi Bro,

I do agree with you. But sometimes we cannot openly share some technical infos about the devices we used.
Some procedures that require users to check on the devices or yr account details etc.

We want to help but there are restrictions in disclosing some infos publicly.

It'd b easier if I just post right here one time off...rather than posting 'pls check yr Pm' & post reply in Pm again....I hope you understand.

Thanks.

I am currently using Astro IPTV + 10 Mbps TIME Broadband, but would like to upgrade to the 100 Mbps TIME Broadband and cancel my Astro IPTV..

Is there a way to do this without having my internet disconnected during the transition?

Thanks for the reply.
*
Hi Bro,

Is yr astro iptv still under contract ? Astro iptv since last year is bind to 2 years contract with prorated penalty of RM2400.

Yes it's possible we can help you arrange for that.

Thanks.

Maybe a FAQ would be great for this thread.
*
Yup agree Bro.

Eg.
Q : I'm staying in landed properties. Is my house covered ?
A : Although Time would love to expand its coverage to most of the properties, but unfortunately the current FTTH(GPON) service is limited to multi dwelling units such as Apt & Condo.

LOL ....

Yea but ezinger would need to edit the post and include all the FAQ there.
I'm pretty sure with all the questions both yeap and jj choo get in their PM they can come up with a pretty detailed FAQ.
*
Hehe...sounds good...we can also pull some of those more popular FAQs from http://www.time.com.my/help/faq.asp
But some guides still cant get too technical coz 'restrictions' leh.....

Hi guys,

Does anybody know what is the process like if I'm shifting apartments in the same building (already have a TIME fibre account)?
*
Hi Bro,

Process as following :

1) Fill in the Service Modification Form, tick Indoor Relocation.
* Remember to fill in Existing & New Address.
* You may put down your Required Date of Relocation.
* Let me know if you need any help with the Account No. & Service No. & also the Form.
* There's a fee of RM80 (Indoor Relocation) to be charged into your upcoming bill.

2) Send your request (with the Modification Form) to customerservice@time.com.my .
You will be contacted within 3-5 days time for Relocation scheduling.

3) On the day of Relocation (or whichever day earlier you prefer), dismantle the equipment (ONU, Router & Dect Phone) & put it back to the boxes & move it to the new address.
Our SI will be there to assist you with the new Installation.
* Since it's in the same building, sometimes the SI may help you with the dismantling, sometimes it may not. But don't worry, you can do it yourself.

Thanks.

Anyone knows when time will reAch savanna? Cause if not have to fix unifi pula sad.gif no choice , cant live without internet.
*
Hi Bro,

There is no specific date yet...please check out my PM, I'll see how to assist you on this matter.

If it's really urgent, you may go for Unifi first as Time has the Easy Switch which absorbs max up to RM500 of your penalty paid to TM.

Thanks.

Is time available at setia alam?
*
Hi Bro,

Time Fibre (FTTX) is not available at Setia Alam yet.

Are you staying in landed properties at Setia Alam ? If so, I'm sorry as generally Time FTTX is only focusing on high rise buildings at this moment.

Sorry, there is also no specific date of when it will be available at Setia Alam. At this moment, I guess you have to go for Unifi or Maxis Fiber which rides on Unifi backbone.

Please kindly PM me your details, I'll notify you of any upcoming news.

Thanks.

Hi

Is there any coverage at tasik prima puchong area? Or anyway i could check it online by myself?
*
Hi Bro,

I'm sorry Time FTTX is not available at Taman Tasik Prima, Puchong yet at this moment.

Good news is Puchong area is in the target list. One thing to be noted is NOT all high rise (multi dwellings units) buildings will be covered.

Please PM me your contact details, we'll be in touch with you once it's available for service.

Thanks.

Getting fed up with my 100 Mbps connection while trying to play games online.

I tried testing on my office's connection (which is Unifi 5Mbps), and I get 90ish ping.

On my 100 Mbps connection at home I'm getting 200+, sometimes up to 500..

Does anyone else experience this while playing Blizzard games on Asian servers using TIME broadband?

tracert:-

Hi Bro,

Please try to use another server if possible, ping to Korea definitely is not going to be that high.

We did experience such problem before while running 100Mbps line to Korea servers.

Try PM me your speedtest results to local Malaysia, Singapore & Korea using cable connection & also tracert results to another server.

Thanks.
