QUOTE(icez @ Dec 14 2015, 10:19 PM) Hi there! Can someone recommend a router to replace the Time standard router? I have 15 devices and most of the time streaming using Apple TV or Spotify lags like crazy. You're using Time Fibre Home Broadband or TIME Broadband?Ps. I'm on Time's 12MB plan (old plan). |

QUOTE(drolore @ Dec 15 2015, 06:17 PM) Hello, Hi, for heavy downloads and streaming go for 50Mbps.Does time enforce the 100GB limit on the 100Mbps accounts? I will be moving to a condominium in KLCC called Avare and I am not sure if I will be going for 50Mbps or 100Mbps. Any recommendations? Mostly it would be to stream netflix and amazon video + accessing my plex server remotely so upload speed is also important. Thanks, 100Mbps have 100GB quota that it will throttle to 10Mbps upon reached quota. You going to move to a condominium name The Avare in Lorong Kuda? If you surf youtube everyday on 100 Mbps, quota will be finish in 3 weeks. 50 Mbps and 100 Mbps upload speed are same as 50 Mbps and 100 Mbps. Hi, TIME is giving special reward for Christmas from 25th Dec to 31st Dec for 100 Mbps for free for all Fibre broadband user.
I get 100 Mbps speed on my 10 Mbps. It is very nice. For accurate results use directly from LAN if you using ZTE H298N router. Sorry for the wrong type. This post has been edited by TXSim: Dec 25 2015, 12:39 PM |

Hi, TIME Fibre Home Broadband speed is very fast and stable. The Wi-Fi Router provided by TIME is not good enough. I have to restart to get high speed. The speed over Wi-Fi is worse than LAN
We are using ZTE H298N Wi-Fi Router. When we activate the boost as the boost didn't reach above 50Mbps. It only reach about speed 20 -30, 30 - 45Mbps Any good recommendation for replacing existing Wi-Fi Router provided by TIME. Which Wi-Fi router is recommended? Asus RT-N18U or TP-Link Archer C9? I'm currently using 10Mbps Line. Now free 100Mbps is nice but torrent and download is very slow. Surfing Google is stable. Youtube can play without buffering. I fully support TIME DotCom. Only one cons - Wi-Fi Router. Wi-Fi Router is not good enough. Must restart after activate 50Mbps boost. To get full speed. After one year using ZTE H298N Wi-Fi Router might consider changing router to Wireless AC router or High speed Wireless N router. Thanks to JJ for helping me with the installation of TIME Fibre Home Broadband. I'm forward to hear your reply. Mr Choo and Mr Yeap. |
