The Legends Circuit Spring 2014 will come to an end after the Grand Final on 8th June in Singapore but eSports has no resting as TLC Summer 2014 has come to take over Spring!

Dear Summoners,

We understand that players spend most of their precious time to train hard in order to be top in the region and be the Flag-bearer for their country in GPL. Besides, eSports will not be as exciting without the local media coverage. Therefore we would like to shine the spotlight on the deserving TLC competitive players as well as the outstanding local media on the upcoming TLC. Without further ado, we proudly present to you The Legends Circuit Summer Season 2014 Awards.

The awards consist of the following:

1. Most Valuable Player
2. Best Local Media Coverage
3. Best Sportsmanship Team
4. Best Newcomer Team
5. Most Fan Voted Player



Most Valuable Player Award

Player with the highest K/D/A throughout the season.

*Below is how the KDA is calculated:KDA (Kill : Death : Assist) = (KILLS + ASSISTS) / DEATHS

In the event that the players are tied on KDA, the tied players with the least gameplay time will be the winner.



Best Local Media Coverage Award

Entries may include columns, editorials, news, features, blogs and videos. Media can submit their own work through registration. Submission must have been published (online or in print) in between the beginning and the end of season.

Judging criteria will include how well the entry:

• Clarifies public understanding of the event
• Conveys relevant messages and engaging content for the gaming community
• Sheds light on the League of Legends gaming culture
• Only media entries from Malaysia / Singapore / Brunei will be accepted

Entries should be submitted by [31st August 2014, 23:59:59]. Please include a link or image (for print) of the entry, headline, name, and contact information for the media/journalist involved, name of news organization, and the date of the piece first appeared.

Note:

• If a publicly accessible link is not available, send the entry via e-mail attachment (ideally, showing original presentation) to community.my@flying spaghetti monster.com.
• Multiple entries may be submitted.

Best Sportsmanship Team Award

The “golden rule” of E-sports. This award will go to the team who has the best sportsmanship behaviour throughout the season. Sportsmanship defines the characteristic of the team members who exhibits sportsman-like behaviour such as:

• Fair play
• Respect for opponents
• Graciousness in winning or losing
• Respecting the judgment of marshals
• Punctuality
• Following the rules of the game

Note: Points given above are examples of sportsmanship. Judging criteria will base more than that.

This award will be decided by the TLC Committee.



Best Newcomer Team Award

This award is created to recognise the amateur team who has never participated in TLC and manage to reach the farthest path in the season. There’s been many teams before who has shown technical qualities such as skills and performance, but also other important factors like fair play that leaves a genuine impression to the public.

The tournament is constantly being rejuvenated by fresh talents. This will be a valuable promotional reward for new players who understands the value of e-sports.

To be eligible, a new team must consist of at least 3 new main players who have never participated in any previous season of TLC.



Most Fan Voted Player Award

Player who gathered the most fan votes throughout the whole season. The mechanic for players voting will be released in the future.
