merchant services...hm...it depends wat market that u r serving. if ur servicing OZ, most likely ur shift starts at 6am. 9hours a day. 5days a week. it's a very good place to work in, for freshies that is. dun expect to get promotion too soon.
the working environment?? i'd say they are quite open minded from top level to bottom level. team work is very important here. they do emphasize very much on team work. but of cos, opis politik is eliwer la so, it's the same here. as per robertngo, it's true that they are merging with MBB. but the call centres are not affected, yet. only those back-end staff are affected. all in all, a good place to work in. if ur a freshie, it's a definite place for u to start off & learn as much as u can. a good stepping stone i'd say. |

QUOTE(jksc @ Aug 10 2006, 09:15 AM) sinoffire, you mentioned that Amex is merging with MBB.... so how will it effect the back end staffs? the merging has alrdy affected those that are servicing local market only. when i say local, it means Malaysia call solely.. like those in credit dept, accts, fraud, etc etc are alrdy taken over by MBB liaw... that's why most of them are either ciao from Amex edi, or some of them go & work in MBB HQ liaw.but as for call centre such as authorisations, customer service, merchant services that are servicing lotsa countries, are not affected. at least not for the near future. mayb after 3-5 years lor. cos MBB stil needs time to learn all those systems & foreign languages mah. |
