K910 Dual-SIM secret codes:

# # # # 1111 # : Engineer Mode (To test all hardware and sensors)
# # # # 537999 # : Developer Options (Full)
# # # # 0000 # : ROM Version

http://www.mediafire.com/view/d335kg5cu7xk...o_K910_Dual.pdf - Root with 4.4.2

Details:
ROM = Stock VIBEUI 1.5 KitKat 4.4.2 Root.

Charging complete 100% @ 10:00am

Modes:
- GPS = Always On.
- WiFi = Always On.
- Dual SIM = Always active.
- Data = Always On.
- Bluetooth = Off
- Vibrate = Always On.

Usages:
- Using GPS with screen on = 1hr 3m 2sec.
- SOT = 2h 21m 39s
- Balance of SOT usage = browsing, youtube, email, social messages.
- Camera = 5 snaps (all without flash).
- Video = zero.
- Games = None.

Current Monitoring:
- After 8h 57m 4s, battery balance 47%.

Others:
- Daily "sleep" performance = 4% per night (11:00pm - 6:00am)
- Power Manager = Default/Normal
- Brightness = Auto (about 80% brightness)
- Audio = Max
- Constant background apps = WhatsApp, OGWhatsApp, Viber, EQ STime, Google Services, Email Services, aCalendar+,
- RAM balance = about 1GB

Conclusion : For my daily usage as above, the Li-Po 3000mAh capacity is more than enough. Plus, the 5.5" 20/20 technology is great in auto-brightness mode. No need to adjust brightness manually. Outdoor visibility with auto-brightness is "readable".

Just sharing...

I'm reverting back to stock JellyBean ROM K910_SS_S_2_040_0039_131101.

Battery slightly bad compared to KitKat. But the GPS is stellar. You can lock location inside any building within 10 seconds so long as you have data/WiFi connection. The stock KitKat can hardly lock location even though near windows.

agree with bro azeemzuhair. i'm previous owner for k910 with ROM K910_SS_S_2_040_0039_131101. With this ROM, gps can be locked inside building by having data/wifi which you cannot use this on other Android phone.

Those who own the single SIM LTE variant (aka K910L), you should be getting upgrade notification to KitKat "soon".....

Benefits:
1) Better GPS locking mechanism for any location INSIDE building.
2) Compatible with Google Play AOSP Browser. Stock Chrome doesn't support Flash contents.
3) Compatible with Android Flash Payer 11.1.115.81 APK (Ice-Cream-Sandwich) installed from Adobe Official Website. Now you can play flash interactive games in K910.
4) Lenovo Address Book aka ContactManager (version 2.5.339.140515) now supports caller IDs. But contacts must have +60 prefix / international code prefix.

I'm beginning to adore this stock ROM (for dual-SIM variant only) ....

So far, the only chip that support SIMULTANEOUS LTE and 3G (i.e SIM1 = LTE; SIM 2 = WCDMA) is MediaTek MTK6592 Octa Core 4G and MediaTek MT6595

Google around to see which model embedding this SoC.

However, the future is bright.... end of this year, we may see more options from SnapDragon, Sammy and Intel....?

By looking at the update log, I don't think so... And it will never be because this requires hardware upgrading. I believe the antenna for SIM2 only support primitive 2G signal.
