i own ps2 & love fighting games but i get bored easily because once we know cpu's weakness its easy. my friends & nephews only like cc games.

i owned dreamcast in 2000 ( kaput in 2002 ). i remember in sf zero 3, after fighting all expert mode cpu ( boring ), it unlocked 3 modded cpu ( ryu, sakura, dan ) and i tell you fighting them was fun & challenging its like playing with a person. i have never met any fighting games like these modded cpu. on wiki these are called ''master character''

i wanna get xbox 360 because of super sf4 but i'm afraid it will be boring to fight cpu with same moves & weakness. these goes for kof, tekken, soul blade.

is there any pc or console games that have some kind of modded or downloaded cpu ''master character'' which is better than an arcade mode cpu?

fighting games are my weakness. most of the time dont even have any idea what the hell im doing.

SF4 on Steam/Xbox360/PS3 can go online play with other players around the world... why only stick to single player mode...

I used to play Mugen on pc.. you can practically download any modded characters you want and build your own fighting characters roster, stages, bg music, and hud display. There is also a 2 vs 2 team battle mode which keep things chaotic and random so that it will be interesting or if you're that good, 1 vs 2 mode. Take on both fighters together.

Some characters have really good boss ai while some do not. Be sure you pick the right one. For example, evil ken and evil ryu by reubenkee is really challenging and fun to beat.

Playing with Ai sure boring.... as Ai character will just do the same thing. Example, SF, u use Ryu, u keep hadoken, the AI sure will jump over. So, if u get their pattern, guarantee will win.

But if u play wit Human, then is another story.

Playing wit AI, n beat them on higher level, doesnt make u bcome the world top player.

Buy one original Xbox 360/PS3/ Steam, n play online with other people.

CPU = AI

In FTG, they like to say CPU level...so i think that y we call it CPU...
of coz now i call AI.
