the valve of the ball where you insert the needle is not as tight as you think. most valve easily accomodate a needle. those who say that it is too tight usually lying.

as far as i know, almost any needle can cucuk one. no need moisten all that. very rare you will find one that is too tight that needs to moisten or risk damaging the goods.

but sometimes if you pump too hard, you will hear noises. then you know it's full liao. just stop a moment to ascertain if it is indeed fill to satisfaction. if not, you can always conntinue pumping

the needle is quite sharp near the head, if no moisten when insert to hole might still scratch the side of the hole, after many times the hole start to become loose and more stinky air will start to leak, then you need to insert more often, then hole gets bigger leak even more until 1 day pump how much leak how much.

yup. need to moisten. coz the hole can crack easily when dry.

Just wondering for folks with balls, how do you pump them up?

The ball always print Moisten Needle near the hole, i always though Moisten Needle is just a name for the needle. Never though that it's a verb to moisture it. I wonder why they don't print Moistened Needle instead. Coz if you write Moisten Needle should follow "before insert needle". If they write moistened needle then we know the hole is for moistened needle.

If you don't moisture the needle before you insert to the ball hole, you risk damaging the valve, and the balls will leak, or get damaged.

This explains why my balls keep shrinking after 2 weeks. Now i sprayed some Silicone spray on the needle before insert, hope the silicone can seal off any damage i've done previously by forcefully inserting it dry.
