Gosh Is there even a need to fight which platform is better? Pick one that suite yourself and not debating here as you cannot win in this battle as different people got different opinion and preferences, no point doing so

Actually every iOS update also people tell sucks more battery...but the truth is after updating you keep on use it and discover the new features its not that it drains more battery is you keep on noticing it by waking up ur phone Mine still perfect with 5 hours of usage. Get over it people
