Yeah ..wonder y they didn't upgrade their ram to 2 or 3 .. Still 1  blink.gif ..hai ...

Main reason apple did not upgrade ram is because the more the ram, the higher the power consumption. So it's a trade off kind of thing. So far my iPad Air seems fine with 1gb ram. I think it's more important how Apple software optimise the use of memory rather than just go big big and big and result is lots of wastage that end up having shorter battery life.

Same goes with the camera that is still 8mega pixel. Bravo Apple for not going into the stupid megapixel war but instead focus on better picture quality. In reality 8 is really more than enough so just keep it at 8mp and keep improving the picture quality.

Upgrade to iOS 8 last night by iTunes full restore. Did notice that wifi is really slow but I did try the fix. Looks like it's working.

The best thing about iOS 8 is the font size which is much bigger and the implementation is system wide which make it really easy on the eye. Love it.

In terms of performance I did notice very slight lag sometimes but overall it's still very zippy.
So far no crash oh hang and seems like it's very good

exactly...if you are going to photo printing then is acceptable to have higher megapixel...

if just for facebook for instagram, 8 is more than enough
*
Even for printing 8MP is more than enough to print up to A4 size. So it's really not a problem

on my 5s, tried all the fix from changing the dns, turning off wifi networking did not work. it is only a temporary solution, after a while it will become slow again.

So far my iPhone 5 is behaving very well with iOS 8.0.2. Battery life is good and no problem at all.

Really like the iOS 8 new features.

Great, I hope they include a fix for Bluetooth compatibility with my car. Both my iPhone 5 and 5S are unable to make and receive calls via iDrive after updating to 8.0.2 although audio streaming works  doh.gif

Try delete the Bluetooth device and repair.

My Bluetooth works perfectly with my car Bluetooth

Check Privacy>Location Services..make sure no apps is using location services all the time.

I did notice location service always on for some apps so I turn it off and did not experience any battery drain. I think this build is very solid as I have not experience any problems at all

My iPhone 5 works flawlessly with ios 8.02.

I never have any hang or major issue.

How did you update to ios 8? I always upgrade by downloading the whole ios and do a full restore via iTunes.

upgraded thru ota... maybe mine is 16g sad.gif

That might be the cause of all your problems with ios 8.

Try downloading and then do a full upgrade. It's like reformatting your PC HD and start over new.

All you have yo do before you upgrade is to back up your phones via iTunes. Then after upgrading to iOS 8 then restore your phone with the backup and you will everything back.
