Believe it is network dependant. I'm on maxsux, and I don't see any toggle. Just the usual 'Enable LTE' toggle

I don't have it either on ip6+. Just settings/cellular only

Don't have it either on my 6. Could it be phone or carrier specific? I do notice however after the 8.1 update the carrier info is showing 18 now instead of the previous 17 on Digi.

Is the Toggle button so important? Maybe yes last time with the Iphone 4 as we toggle to 2g to save on battery usage. But nowadays, after so long with Maxis LTE, I will even hesitate to surf on 3G networks because its so slow.

Right. Given a choice I will always choose highest download speed possible. So with LTE enabled is good enough

important for someone that always go to low coverage area...because when you keep your LTE/3G on... your phone will always searching for 3G/LTE signal while that area only have 2G available...this searching process eat up battery ... toggle 2G to tell your phone stop searching for LTE/3G

i think it might be the toggle for voice-over LTE like someone already mentioned. VoLTE only available in US and SG... uMobile also implementing it?

If voice-over LTE, then it's only applicable for overseas for may developed country but not malaysia, but it might take some years for us to have that option.

If u-mobile able to do that, then the other telco might follow too.

important bro... but to have such this toggle avalaible would be nice... at least we can select our desired network..

just in case u stuck in a remote place where only 2G readily available... if u set as 3G ur phone will constant look for 3G cellular and that bro is one of the major thing lead to batteries depleted in a very fast way...
