For most the case, when itune is launched and iDevice has been plugged in to your computer, the itune will automatically detect you iDevice current version and check if there is any new updated. You will be prompt with "Download and Install" or "Download Only". I always select "Download only" because I have to perform backup for my iDevice. After the new version has been downloaded completely, then only I click the "Update" button.

haiya so many ppl blur here
1) if u dont have enough hdd space on ur phone, just update it using pc via itunes 2) if u wanna use OTA update, make sure u have 4-5gb available, even tho the update itself might be 1gb in size, the file will extract and expand when you install it. 3) ios 8 works fine on iphone 5. no lag 4) if u cant update to ios 8, dont worry. i think they're better off calling it ios 7.2 lol sekian. |
